improve compatibility with Galaxy tablet?
Is there something on the Icecast server I can do to improve
compatibility with devices that seem to have a problem with high
latency? (at least I think latency is the problem)
For example, I have a Samjunk Galaxy tablet that randomly drops the live
audio stream. Any other device in my house works fine.
I'm streaming an MP3 source live over an HTTPS Internet connection using

improve compatibility with Galaxy tablet?
See below, although none of these things should be specific to the
Galaxy tablet (my older tablet works fine, too).

Mouse crazy on Full screen app + Tablet PC
Hi, I don't really expect this to get fixed but I have an issue and I was hoping someone would be able to at least diagnose it. I have a X41T Thinkpad. It is a tablet pc and when I have a full screen app (i.e. game) open the digitizer pen goes nuts.
The cursor tries to go off the screen. Holding it perfectly still will cause the mouse to glide slowly across the screen while moving it

OT: Windows Vista Tablet PC linux alternative
Hi all,
I have this tabletpc one of my bosses insisted on buying. The machine runs
Windows Vista TabletPC Edition. As it happens I have a thousand and one
problems with this POS operating system... I think the hardware is fine
though, so it's not that.
Would any of you guys know of some kind of linux-based alternative,
preferrably available on or for CentOS, that can do the same

Conflict between mouse and tablet
I've been working hard to get my Wacom tablet to work as my primary
pointing device. I've installed the drivers and followed the
instructions at the Linux Wacom project at Sourceforge.
And I've been largely successful. The drivers are working, the
configuration utilities are working. I'm just one step away from success.
Apparently the problem is that my mouse and my USB tablet

Wacom Tablet Pressure Sensitivity Issue!
I use Wine 1.0 rc4 on Fedora Core 5.
My Wacom Intuous 3 works well on GIMP.
It accept Pressure of tablet well, so I think proper Tablet Driver was installed.
But, on WIne, Pressure Sensitivity don't influence at all.
I tested Photoshop CS, CS2, and ZBrush on Wine 1.0 rc4, nothing could accept Pressure of Tablet.
I modified xorg.conf, so GIMP can work properly.
How can I solve the problem?

PXE on Compaq Tablet PC
Hi.
I would like to install slackware linux onto my compaq tablet pc. the
problem is that it doesn't have either floppy or cd-rom, but it does support
booting from PXE or RPL.
I was wondering if you can use the slackware install iso to boot via the
network. Or do i have to do in another way?
Thanks

CentOS 6 : Tip for significantly increasing battery life / reducing power consumption (Thinkpad X220 Tablet)
Hello,
I was not happy with the power consumption of CentOS 6 x86_64 on a new
Lenovo Thinkpad x220 Tablet and I worked on reducing it. I just wanted
to share with the list one of the changes which gave me the most
significant improvement.
As per http://www.williambrownstreet.net/blog/?p=387, add the
following kernel arguments to the GRUB boot configuration:

Jitsi Meet on CentOS 7 ?
Benson, no SELINUX was not enabled. The instance was selected without it
just to make things easier.
I do not have a pull request for the installation manual yet.

Jitsi Meet on CentOS 7 ?
Hi,
Anyone here managed to run Jitsi Meet on a CentOS 7 server ? As far as I can
tell, it's one of the nicer open source videoconferencing solutions out there.
I gave it a spin on https://suricate.tv and now I'd like to install it on one
of my servers.
Unfortunately the Jitsi developers only provide documentation for
Debian/Ubuntu. Well, there is some sort of guide for CentOS around. As

Jitsi Meet on CentOS 7 ?
Hi Centos friends.
I had some time to write a spartan tutorial on running the latest stable
Jitsi Video Bridge and Jitsi Meet and Centos 7.7.
I wrote it while testing it so this WORKS and I am currently using it for
fun with the kids.
I do have the server currently running but blocked by my firewall. I am
willing to allow a few of the people such a Kovacs and others to connect to
my Jitsi server

Example of Jitsi Desktop provisioning file
Hello,
1. I'm looking for an (anomized) example of a Jitsi Desktop provisioning
file compliant with Asterisk ?
Jitsi Doc mentions it should adhere to Java properties file syntax (see
[1]) but a working example would help.
If this example file included the following settings, it would be perfect:
- sip username, secret, authname, ...
- codec G711, RFC2833
- BLF
- local or remote phonebook

Logitech webcam for use with CentOS 7
I am thinking of buying a Logitech C920S Pro HD or C922 webcam for the necessary video conferencing.
Is anyone using that with Zoom or perhaps with Jitsi? Do I need drivers? Any issues?
Thank you.

chan_motif / res_xmpp problems
I've now replicated my setup on a host with a single IPv4 address and I
am still having trouble with the ICE negotiation.
I am trying to call from Jitsi to Asterisk through a Prosody XMPP
server. Asterisk successfully registers with the XMPP server and
appears to be available in the buddy list in Jitsi. Jitsi is being run
with the "-4" command line option to use IPv4 only just in
