MultiMarkdown and MathML - new feature and request for help
A lot of people have expressed interest in combining math features with Markdown, but I am not aware of any real developments from these requests. I was looking around and toying with [ASCIIMathPHP](http:// www.jcphysics.com/ASCIIMath/) and integrated it with MultiMarkdown and my xhtml2latex XSLT transforms. You can include math as an inline formula by using a markup similar to inline

Psych can't load LaTeX entities file
Hi there, I wanted to use RedCloth with my RubyOnRails 3 application, but it seems that RoR uses 1.9.2''s Psych by default as the YAML parser if available, and Psych fails to load the LaTeX entities file: ==================================================================== #ruby -v: ruby 1.9.2p136 (2010-12-25 revision 30365) [x86_64-linux] irb(main):001:0> Dir.pwd =>

Add support for musl libc
Hi, I?m trying to compile libguestfs on Alpine Linux, that uses musl libc (lightweight, fast and simple standards-conformance libc). It fails in the check phase due to missing glibc-style extended printf formatters. -- checking for register_printf_specifier... no checking for register_printf_function... no configure: error: in `/tmp/libguestfs/src/libguestfs-1.32.6?: configure: error: No support

[rspec-devel] rspec_on_rails (trunk - r3070) works with Rails 2.0.1
I figured most of it out. The Spec::Rails stuff was something in the code which has been fixed by revision 3099. The test methods partially make sense. Since the test/unit code has been integrated, methods with test in them are automatically turned into specs. However, the test? method is in a lib file that isn''t directly loaded into the specs. It is a convenience method: def

changes in rspec 2.4 break ci_reporter
Hi I use the ci_reporter gem for builds on my CI machine (hudson). Prior to rspec 2.4, environment options would override commandline options. So the gem used this to change the formatter and require its files. In 2.4, that order has been reversed. the thing is 2.4 supports multiple formatters, so there is another suggestion. Automatic code formatting
A heads up: very soon the code base of tinc will be reformatted using Artistic Style. I've already pushed the .astylerc to the master and 1.1 branches, including a Makefile rule so you can run "make astyle" from the top directory and have all source files automatically formatted. The .astylerc reflects the current code style of tinc, but with the following important changes: -

doveadm user -f index
I've configured my mail_location to have a different location for performance reasons so they aren't in the same location as the mail_location. The 'doveadm user -f home' is useful to find where a user's home directory is for various scripting purposes, but I can't seem to find a way to determine the location of the user's indexes. I can do something with the output

doveadm proxy list repeats header line
Hi all, just a minor thing: Why does `doveadm proxy list` repeat the header line after each entry? Too me, that just makes the output harder to read. So instead of this: root at mail1 ~ # doveadm proxy list username proto src ip dest ip port info at domain1.de imap 80.152.196.98 222.133.127.53 993 username service src-ip dest-ip

[PATCH] lib: Prefer tirpc for XDR, and rationlise how we search for alternatives.
glibc in Fedora is currently configured with `--enable-obsolete-rpc', so I guess we can see the way the wind is blowing. (1) This changes our configure script to prefer libtirpc if it is available. If libtirpc is _not_ available then: (a) Headers must be located in <rpc/xdr.h>, or the user must supply the right CFLAGS. (b) XDR functions must be located in one of -lportablexdr, -lrpc,

How to integrate Scruff Images
Hi Folks, since I have scruffy up and running now I´d like to integrate the desired images on some of my rails views. But neither scruffy nor rails docs say something about this and I cannot find examples or help on this. So I hope somebody on this forum has experiences in integrating scruffy images on rails views. I find out how to go the easy and obvious way: Export image to a file and then

Instant Rails 1.0 Release Candidate 1
This release upgrades the included Ruby to version 1.8.4 and will become the final 1.0 release of Instant Rails if no serious problems are found. Instant Rails is a one-stop Rails runtime solution containing Ruby, Rails, Apache, and MySQL, all preconfigured and ready to run. No installer, you simply drop it into the directory of your choice and run it. It does not modify your system environment.

Database custom formatter
I am trying to write a custom formatter to update a database record based on example results. Having a lot of trouble, so I thought to ask if anyone has a custom formatter that writes results to a database or outputs results in JSON or some other programmatic format. A working example will go a long way in helping me work thru my own use case. Thanks -------------- next part -------------- An
