Segmentation fault with latest 1.1 revision
Hello, I am trying 1.1 branch and I experience a segmentation fault upon ALRM signal. This looks like a race condition. I have my tincd daemon instantiated manually in if-up.d/jmuchemb (without IF_TINC_NET) and when if-up.d/tinc runs, it sends a ALRM signal that makes tincd crash. It fails here: Core was generated by `tincd -D -n jmuchemb -d -o ConnectTo srv -o srv.Address 81.x.y.z -o

SSSD and usermod
Hi! How to get usermod working with SSSD/389DS ? We have SSSD set up on our server and it uses 389DS. SSSD was enabled with the following command: authconfig --enablesssd --enablesssdauth --ldapbasedn=dc=example,dc=com --enableshadow --enablemkhomedir --enablelocauthorize --update Running for example "usermod -L username" returns: usermod: user 'username' does not exist in

CentOS 5/6 random system freezes
I am working on high load daemon development, which listens on UDP and processes packets. Last few months I noticed some strange issue when it takes 500-700 ms to answer packet, while usually it takes 20 ms. I've run strace on all daemon processes and found this thing: 13:35:36.979887 stat("/etc/localtime", {st_mode=S_IFREG|0644, st_size=2309, ...}) = 0 13:35:36.979944 write(3,

Bug#793921: tftpd-hpa: IPv6 address cannonization breaks IPv4
Take 2 at bouncing this to the rest of the original recipients through a different MTA, since mail.zytor.com refused to accept it the first time. Please re-add Jason Gunthorpe <jgg at obsidianresearch.com> and 793921 at bugs.debian.org to the CC for replies. select periodically returns 0 then read ETIMEDOUT
Hi Experts, I used strace to trace an issue that the session hold the file lock for about 20 mins after the client disconnected from the network. Then the session was terminated by Samba. In the strace output, I found select was being called periodically in a loop, returning 0. After minutes, 1 was returned by select then read was called, ETIMEDOUT returned. As a new hand, just want to know if

Other feature requests
Hello, Great to see that my patch for new '-o' command-line option has been accepted :) It was the most important missing feature for me. But there are other ones I'd like to see implemented: 1. push options to clients (see push/pull options of OpenVPN) 2. automatically execute routing commands to cause all outgoing IP traffic to be redirected over the VPN (see redirect-gateway of

Routing
Hello, I think routing could be improved in several ways, at least, there lacks some documentation describing how Tinc routes packets. In order to test Tinc, I setup the following virtual network: - tinc 1.1pre9 with ExperimentalProtocol=yes - use of network namespaces (actually python-nemu[1]) - star topology, where all nodes runs tinc except the center, which I use to filter communications,

internal-sftp stuck on 'ls' with chrootdirectory
Hi all, I am using Match directive and internal-sftp to chroot sftp users into their directory. Connection and login works. I can change directories and put/get files. Also logging of the internal sftp-process works (created a /dev/log socket inside the chroot). As soon as I use the 'ls' command, nothing happens and the the process gets stuck. Listing files does work as soon as I remove
