No audio on call forward after upgrade from Asterisk 1.4 to 1.6
Hi everyone, This is my first post to the list, although I am a long term user of Asterisk. I have recently found a problem that I just can't seem to solve. I have a client that has an Ubuntu x64 based Asterisk server with and ISDN Dahdi interface and about 25 SIP handsets. Everything was working fine in Asterisk 1.4 and now after migrating the config to Asterisk 1.6.2.5 I have one single

OpenVPN routing
Hi! I''m trying to create a routed VPN using OpenVPN - and having trouble with the routing concepts involved. Let me see if I can properly describe my current topology: Server - LAN, with both local workstations and remote bridged workstations on the 192.168.0.0/24 network (this works without reservation). Server located at 192.168.0.71, 192.168.0.72, 192.168.0.222, and few

Domains: Pros and Cons?
I have Samba running without a PDC and I have some questions about the advantages for implementing one with Samba vs. the problems and disadvantages. Perhaps some kind souls can help me determine whether I should do this or not. We have three offices connected by a Checkpoint VPN, plus people "on the road" using their SecureClient tool. We want everyone to be able to get to all the

virt-manager slow to connect, hangs on new host dialog
Hello, I am using virt-manager 0.9.4 on a Debian unstable system (libvirt 0.9.12) to connect to a libvirtd via SSH running on a Debian testing system (also version 0.9.12), and I have a problem using virt-manager, which first takes ages to connect, then freezes. The SSH connection is top-quality, the hosts are next to each other and connected by Gigabit Ethernet. virsh connections work fine.

Hai,   I suggest start with. 1) backup you smb.conf 2) cleanup your smb.conf   About the "access is denied". Which brother printer is it ? you didnt tell us that. Which printer driver, please post a link.   Did you set the SePrivileges? Did you configure the share with "POSIX" or WINDOWS rights. ?   And in the folder /srv/samba/Printer_drivers/ make this

virt-install w/ routed networking
Hello, I was just wondering if anyone has any ideas on getting virt-install to work with routed networking? Why? I am fully setup to use standard Xen routing and well I want to do a ''regular'' CentOS install with Anaconda partition table setup etc, but usually I am using custom templates which I extract onto LVM volumes without bothering with partitions. If anyone can recommend

Xen4.4 HVM domains and routed setups
Hi I have a Xen 4.4 installation with Windows in a HVM domain and I need to use a routed setup. However the vif-route script does not work for HVM domains. So far I used an outdated Xen 4.1 installation with manually patched scripts that could do routed setups with HVM. But now I wanted to update and switch from xm to xl. Is there any way to make Xen work with HVM in a routed setup? Or do I

NAT-based network 2x-4x faster than routed network?
Hi Is it expected behaviour that a libvirt NAT-based network is faster than a libvirt routed network? I would guess that the routed network would be the fastest one in all cases, but I'm seeing the opposite in my setup. On a 100mbit internet connection, the routed network tops at 4mbyte/sec, while the nat-based network goes all the way to 10mbyte/sec. I've spend the last 6 hours on

libvirt/kvm/qemu: pointopoint routed setup?
Hi, can anyone give an example for a pointopoint routed setup? i.e. each virtual machine has one ip with pointopoint config to the host machine, on a private interface - thus the virtual machines can only talk to the host, which routes them and can use normal iptables for filtering all traffic. with xen this was a simple script doing ifconfig ${vif} ${main_ip} netmask 255.255.255.255 up ip
