all samba commands running in debug mode?
Whenever I run a samba command such as testparm or smbclient, it outputs in debug mode. I am running this on a SunFire 12K. I have this same samba package installed on a Enterprise 4000 and it works fine. Any suggestions? davinci:root> smbclient -L davinci | more Password: doing parameter log file = /tmp/log.%m doing parameter lock directory = /usr/local/samba/var/locks doing parameter

Windows 8.1 64-bit printer sharing issue
Hello, We have setup a Samba 4.1.0 server that has worked great so far. We have a printer share that is set up so that our users access the printers around the office directly via a central location. It is setup so that the users' computers can get the driver directly from the print server. We use CUPS to manage the printers. It is deployed via GPO. It works great for Windows 7 32-bit and

Samba segment faulting - unknown cause
Hello, Recently our Samba server has started segment faulting. It happens occasionally, but is often enough to cause disruption. People notice thier network drives freeze, I am unsure of the cause of the segment fault, and have no experience debugging backtraces. Can anoyone lend a hand? We are running Samba as a primary domain controller with an Openldap backend on another server, both on

[LLVMdev] LLVM optmization
The following C test program was compiled using LLVM with -O3 option and MSVC with /O2. The MSVC one is about 600 times faster than the one compiled with the LLVM. We can see that the for loop in MSVC assembler is solved in the optimization pass more efficiently than that in LLVM. Is there an way to get a optimization result in LLVM like that of the MSVC? [Ffmpeg-devel] libavcodec/vp3.c compile problem (fwd)
Hi, I don't know how much of the old VP3 codebase is incorporated into Theora. I wrote ffmpeg's VP3 decoder from scratch but eventually ported in the original VP3 IDCT function. A BSD conflict cropped up that I thought I would pass along. -- -Mike Melanson <p>---------- Forwarded message ---------- Date: Wed, 10 Sep 2003 13:06:37 -0700 (PDT) From: Steven M. Schultz

Missing probes in libc.so.1
Hi, I did "dtrace -l" on libc.so.1 with "_c??????" matching pattern and yield only two probes but there are 6 of them matches that pattern when invoke "nm" on libc. Why? See below for details: %dtrace -w -qn ''BEGIN {system("dtrace -l -mlibc.so.1 > libc_dtrace");} pid$target:libc:_c??????:entry{}'' -c ''sleep 1'' %

listing the files in a directory using regular expressions
Hi Experts, This might be silly question that I am asking, but no way as I am new to R. I want to list the files in a directory using regular expression like A_B*_C*.csv etc. How to make this possible in R ? I tried like this list.files(dir=".", pattern="A_B*_C*.csv") but this gives no output, whereas list.files(.... pattern="*.csv") giving all the .csv files in

[LLVMdev] General modular and multiprecision arithmetic
Hi, I know there's been some talk about bignums already, this is similar to it, but not exactly the same. I'm currently using LLVM for my master thesis. The goal is to make a compiler for zero-knowledge proofs of knowledge protocols. This compiler should target embedded devices. There's a language called the protocol implementation language in which these protocols should be

Redundant load in llvm's codegen compares to gcc when accessing escaped pointer?
1. Same question as David, why &c - 8 is invalid? Is it related to below statements In C99 standard? 6.5.3.3: "Among the invalid values for dereferencing a pointer by the unary * operator are a null pointer, an address inappropriately aligned for the type of object pointed to, and the address of an object after the end of its lifetime." 2. We are trying to preserve 1st load and

Empty buffer on encoder write byte
Hi, I've been trying to encode a live audio input from the microphone on iOS device using opus. Uncompressed audio recording works fine with http://theamazingaudioengine.com/ Then, when I tried to do encoding, I'm stuck at figuring out why the buffer is empty: static int ec_write_byte(ec_enc *_this,unsigned _value){ if(_this->offs+_this->end_offs>=_this->storage)return

Block Spam Calls
Hi All. Does anybody know if Google/Android has an API I can sign up for that will allow us to query the caller ID and find out if it is spam or a robocaller? I ask because we've had increase in spam calls and I'd like to simply play dead air or something really annoying.
