MeetMe Admin unmute user problem
Hello fellow asterisk users,
I've been facing a problem when using MeetMe's admin functionality to
unmute users in a conference using *Asterisk 1.6.2.11*.
I've tried:
1) MeetMeUnmute (AMI)
2) MeetMeAdmin(AMI)
3) MeetMeChannelAdmin(AMI)
and also tried via console : "asterisk -rx 'meetme unmute conf_no user_no'"
and the available AGI functions.
but all of this to no

How to get meetme participants in dialplan?
The meetmeadmin() dialplan function lets you specify a user to mute,
un-mute or kick. But how do you get a list of users in your dialplan?
When a user joins a conference, the user number assigned is "the last user
number +1." If you have a long running conference with callers joining and
leaving all the time, this can grow to be a large number.
I want to be able to

Cool! I'm still away from the office, but I was starting to
work towards syching meetme2 up to the version of meetme in
* 1.0.7. It is over a 2000 line diff, ignoring the database
integration code, so it was looking like a not too trivial
task.
One question though, how difficult will it be to extend your

of you previous version? I

IAX / MeetMe problem
Greetings,
I have a somewhat unique (I think) configuration that I am testing
involving MeetMe conferencing and have encountered a problem that I'm not
quite sure how to solve. Here is a brief description of my setup for the
background.
I wanted to offer the ability for users to mute and unmute themselves while
in a conference. If they enter a conference as monitor only, they are

Clustering Meetme over multiple boxes?
Has anyone here done any work on clustering Meetme conferences over
multiple Asterisk boxes? The scenario I am thinking of is where there are
two or more boxes connected to a set of PRIs that all answer to the same
PSTN number, and where it's not possible to know in advance on which box
a call would arrive. So it would be possible to have some calls on one
box and some on another, that should

MeetMe Listen Only flag (|m)
One of the features that I thought would be popular with the Web-MeetMe
suite is the ability to start all non-admin callers in a muted state and
selectively unmute them. For example any large conference that is
of an announcment nature with a Q&A session.
It's probably a feature I should have tested better, but I just
discovered
that a caller that is joined to a MeetMe with the |m flag

I'm a 1.2 Luddite so I don't have all these fancy new features :)
A different solution to a similar problem.
I had problems with abusive callers in my conferences. I whipped up some
dialplan and AGI mojo to let an admin mute and unmute individual

anyway in meetme to mute all but one user?
Hi. I am using latest asterisk 1.2 and it would be nice in a meetme
conference to be able to mute all but a particular user and then
unmute all those users again with one command. Am I missing something
or is this not available? Maybe I could write something, but I wanted
to check first.

meetme an customized menu
Hi,
today i have taken a strong look at meetme.c
what i am trying to accomplish is the following:
it should be possible to access an menu from within the conference in
order to perform special tasks, eg. to dial another number so that the
called person is joined with the conderence.
my first try was to use an agi-script for this, but as with agi enabled

Meetme conference capacity
I have a 1.8 GHz, 1 G RAM machine that I would like to use for

I have a Digium quad T1 card in the box right now, so I could have up to 96
users on this system. Has anyone ran into problems with degradation of
service as the number of users increased. I haven't tested it out yet, but

Here in Sweden, it's supposed to be springtime. A wonderful time of the year,

It's winter all over again with rain and only 3 degrees celsius outside.
Better to stay inside and write a weekly Asterisk newsletter :-)
