CDR and RADIUS (cdr_radius) - working
Hi, I needed my CDR's to be stored using a RADIUS server. I found cdr_radius in the src directory. Looked in /docs for how to install it and I got it to work. Just want to say thanks to those who helped write this. Has anybody else used this, any comments, cause I found nothing using google, even voip-info has nothing on this module? -- thanks, Yusuf

RADIUS
Hi, Radius is a AAA protocol (Authorization, Aurhentication and Accounting) you can use rhe three methods or only one of them. Authentication can be done by usong a Freeradius Server, aitvorization will give a userr profile with certain privileges for example In a network connection, and accounting (user connection details) can be registered In a MySQL database if needed. Check for guodes con

RADIUS is just an authentication (plus a bit more) protocol - what you are asking is like asking how LDAP can be used. Usually it's treated like a magic black box by applications in that one of the configuration options is to "use a RADIUS

Radius 0.0.1 -- Powerful Tag-Based Templates
I am pleased to announce the immediate release of Radius 0.5.0. Radius is a small, but powerful tag-based template language for Ruby inspired by the template languages used in MovableType <www.movabletype.org> and TextPattern <www.textpattern.com>. It uses tags similar to XML, but can be used to generate any form of plain text (HTML, e-mail, etc...). This release is much more feature

Patton 5.3. How to get incoming calls ? [SOLVED]
Hi, Changing the line bellow helped to get incoming calls but I add to remove secret= option in sip.conf (otherwise, Patton wouldn't respond to 407 Auth required challenges). If someone could enable secret and still get incoming calls (in any SmartWare 5.X), please, do not hesitate to share here ... interface sip IF-ASTERISK bind context sip-gateway ASTERISK route call dest-table

Direct RADIUS support, not via PAM
Hi, I'm currently testing dovecot to authenticate user passwords against a radius server, via pam_radius_auth, and that seems to work fine. However, I am running other software (Exim MTA) that also authenticates via radius, using the radiusclient library from: http://www.mcs.de/~lf/radius/ Is there any chance that this library could be used by Dovecot as a further authentication option, and
