Old Asterisk Release wanting to upgrade ...
Hello,
I have been running Asterisk for the past 5+ years on RedHat and I never upgraded it before.
All my Asterisk software is of the following release:
1) Asterisk 1.4.21.2
2) Libpri-1.4.4
3) Zaptel-1.4.11
I would like to move the OS to CentOS and then I thought I can at the same time ponder about upgrading Asterisk releases.
However, I am bewildered by the myriad of different releases like 1.6,

Click-to-dial CTI for Windows
Hello guys,
Is there a decent click-to-dial CTI which works well with Asterisk?
We have vanilla asterisk implementation and I have tried a few (ADA,
Outcall etc) but they have poor documentation and don't work very well.
We are looking for an application which can allow us to dial a number
from Outlook and IE/Firefox for outbound calls and get a pop-up for
inbound calls with call history

Flashing Red Lights in TE420 (5th Gen) Card
I have the following software installed in a Centos Box with a TE420 (5th Gen) card.
. Centos 6.5 64-bit
. Asterisk 1.4.22
. dahdi-linux-complete-2.9.1.1+2.9.1
. libpri-1.4.14.
Even without plugging in the ISDN into span 1, all 4 spans are flashing red.
Plugging an E1 into span 1 makes no difference.
My system.conf is just simply:
loadzone=au
defaultzone=au
span=1,1,0,ccs,hdb3,crc4
bchan=1-15

DAHDI-linux 2.7 compile error with CONFIG_DAHDI_NET enabled
Not sure how I should officially report this, but I'm getting a compile
error with DAHDI-linux 2.7 when I define CONFIG_DAHDI_NET in
include/dahdi/dahdi_config.h. I am able to compile successfully when I
leave it undefined, but I need to be able to use the network support.

dahdi-linux 2.6.2 failing to compile with linux 3.13
Hello,
I'm getting the following errors when compiling dahdi-linux 2.6.2 under
Ubuntu 14.04 with kernel 3.13.0-24-generic.
I did google and found one thread suggesting the errors should be fixed in
2.6.2, and another suggesting to try 2.4 which didn't make sense but I
tried anyway, and it gave similar warnings.
Would anyone know how to make it compile? Thanks in advance.
