load testing and pattern testing sangoma A116 card
Hi,
I am trying to validate a setup with a sangoma A116 card (16PRI in one
card). I currently have two machines set up, each with a sangoma A116
card. Those are interconnected with crossed PRI cables. One of them is
in NT mode, the other in TE.
The ports are configured in E1 mode, asterisk is all set up and I can
make calls between them, filling up all 480 (16 * 30) channels.
Now, I learned

redirected call failure
Hi,
I have the following setup:
(sip clients) -internet- asterisk A -IAX- asterisk B -PRI- (pstn)
This works fine for regular calls sip->pstn. the calls go through
perfectly. However, when one of the sip clients (a snom320) is set to
redirect to the pstn, then all I hear is congestion tones when I call that
sip client. I am at a loss to see why the redirected call would fail, when

b410p and DTMF: dtmfthreshold in 1.2.18 zaptel drivers please?
I have the same problem as the following:
http://threebit.net/mail-archive/asterisk-users/msg36602.html
I am using a b410p (Wildcard) in TE mode on 4 channels of ISDN2e and it
totally fails to detect incoming DTMF. The newer mISDN drivers have a
parameter "dtmfthreshold" where you can tune the volume above which DTMF
detection is initiated. However (I've tried it) the newest

interconnecting an asterisk server with an old alcatel PBX through a Digium B410P
Hi guys,
I need to interconnect an asterisk server (1.4.17) with an alcatel pbx,
because i want that an asterisk extension can call an alcatel extension
and viceversa. I need to do this throug a NT port (of the digium card)
for technical reasons (linked with alcatel hardware).
Card installation was fine, but i'm not sure of the configuration i
choose. In /etc/misdn-init.conf i put my

Hi all,
We have a BRI installation who is experiencing constant echo with the
Digium b410p and mISDN.
I have adjusted gains, and originally thought that the desktop phones
were at fault, although we experience the same problem when a call is
bridged out to an external number.
I've tried it with 128 taps (the default and I believe the supported

B410P and DTMF
Hi,
I have 3 ISDN lines using the digium B410P card.
Incoming and outgoing call are working.
I use the following version :
* libpri-1.4.10.2
* dahdi-2.2.1.1
* asterisk-1.6.2.6
On incoming calls, DTMF is not working, i can't see any logs.
Here are the main configuration files :

Asterisk 1.6, B410P and TE/PtmP mode. Could you get it running ?
Hi,
My setup is:
IPPhone1 --- Asterisk1 with B410P ---- Patton 4638 --- Asterisk2 ---
IPPhone2
I want to evaluate Asterisk1 in TE/PtmP mode.
So, Patton box is configured in NT/PtmP (with 3 BRI links between both
systems).
Anyway, asterisk -rx "pri show spans" keeps replying :
PRI span 1/0: Provisioned, Down, Active
PRI span 2/0: Provisioned, Down, Active
PRI span 3/0: Provisioned,

B410P, dahdi in TE, PtmP mode ?
Hi,
I've read that the new dahdi channel supporting B410P doesn't support PtmP
when in NT mode.
Does it support PtmP when in TE mode ?
Cheers

Which echo-can for Digium B410P ?
Hi,
Which echo-canceler shall I pick for Digium B410P ?
Is HPEC relevant ? Reading from its datasheet, it seems related to analog
cards.

B410P echo cancellation
We own an Asterisk box with the following configuration:
Linux Debian 4.0
Kernel 2.6.18
Asterisk 1.2.23
Zaptel 1.2.19
We installed a Digium B410P card, and we are using 3 ports in te_ptp mode
(it is connected to BRI adapters on Italian ISDN lines, provided by Telecom
Italia; in Cisco language, they should be "isdn switch-type basic-net3").

b410p hangup detection - Portugal
Hi,
I've setup a trixbox 1.2.2 instalation with digium b410p. It uses misdn
driver.
I'm able to place calls and receive calls using this interface.
One thing that happens is when i dial an a number from a sip client to an
number that is routed through b410p and the called party rejects the call,
asterisk doesn't detect the hangup. The sip client remains in ringing waiting
for the
