Okay, am trying to get ICQ2000b installed under Wine for my GF ... I use LICQ myself, she doesn't like it as much as her Windows version, says it offers more then licq ... Hi! I have tried to install Mass Effect several times on my Thinkpad L520 Notebook with Linux Mint 12 and wine 1.3.35 from the ubuntu-wine ppa. I have two discs, the first DVD installs the game, the second CD patches it to version 1.01a, with some Czech and Hungarian extensions. I just tried to install Steam through Wine and PlayOnLinux. It installed successfully, but hung on the client update.
