LLD Build Improvements
Greetings All,
I was wondering what projects seem to improve the most from lld as a
linker. It s
seems to mostly be browsers and games but if someone has something else
I would be interested to hear what. The site doesn't really talk about what
projects improve the most so I would be curious to hear what does and
even if possible why.

Zap channel not hangingup
Hi,
I am setting up a test call center using *. I am using one Zap channel
(Wildcard TDM400P REV E/F -- 4 FXO modules) for incoming call and sip
phones (SjPhone) for call agents. I have setup queues and agents. While
testing I found that if the agent presses * key in soft phone while
attending calls Zap channel gets hung up, and another customer can call.
But if the caller hangs up (for example

Security issue #5: mail_extra_groups setting is often used insecurely
mail_extra_groups=mail setting is often used insecurely to give Dovecot
access to create dotlocks to /var/mail directory. If you don't use
mboxes in /var/mail, make sure this setting is cleared.
If you do use /var/mail mboxes and Dovecot gives permission errors
without it, do one of the following (in the preferred order):
a) Upgrade to v1.0.11 and use the new mail_privileged_group setting

smb protocol version
I have a handful of Linux Servers, running Centos 6.10, and 6.8 with the
main host running openvz w/ Centos 6.10 as the main OS.? Two of the
guests are running samba, sharing directories out to windows clients.
I'm in the process of migrating servers over to vmware, using Centos
7.8.? How can I determine what smb protocol version is being used in the
shares for each server?? I don't see

Samba 4.8.1: spotlight enabled share can not connect to Tracker
I’m having this exact same issue after upgrading from 4.7.x to 4.9.1. I’ve been using the same set of instructions to setup tracker for a few years without issue. Does anyone have any suggestions? I’m stuck on this and can’t figure out what’s changed.
Thanks.

1.0.13: mail_extra_groups alternative syntax?
"Warning: mail_extra_groups setting was often used insecurely so it is
now deprecated, use mail_access_groups or mail_privileged_group instead"
I use the following:
mail_extra_groups = mail nogroup
Because I have the real and virtual accounts.
What's the correct way to replace the above line? It seems that
mail_privileged_group only accepts one group, but I need two.

Adding CA/Root SSL / TLS Certificate, HTTPS
Hi,
I need to add my own and other/new self-signed ca/root cert in CentOS
pki database/system, for all/most type of apps to use.
Using "wget", i'm trying to securely(HTTPS) get gpg keys/files from
https://fedoraproject.org/keys site, which is using root cert with
following info:

IPv6 range provisioning question
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

A few months back, I tried to use the network scripts to provision an IPv6 range
like can be done with IPv4. I was using CentOS 5.2 at the time and was informed
that 5.2 was broken in this regard. I have upgraded to CentOS 5.3 now and I am
trying to get IPv6 to provision an entire range of IPs, but I am still getting
the old behavior and no IPs are

SSH recovery console
Hello,
Is there available to create ssh recovery console except vnc console,
that is default by libvirt.
For example connect to kvm at host:2220 and go to first console
For example like here
<serial type="tcp">
<source mode="bind" host="127.0.0.1" service="2445"/>
<protocol type="telnet"/>

IMAP access to dovecot list archives?
Hi Timo,
Before I go file a bug for Thunderbird, can you confirm that IMAP access
to the dovecot mail list archives should still be working?
TB is getting stuck in the account creation screen, and this may be
confirmation of a bug they are having trouble isolating in the New
Account Wizard.
Thanks,

can't turn on wide links in homedir
Hi, I discovered that it's not possible to run 'wide links' and 'unix
entensions' at the same time - there are source-level blockers in place
that will disable wide links and write a log entry. I traced this to
https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7104 and

However, I run a private home LAN server that already
