similar to: Centos 5 and blutooth mouse

I have CentOS 6.5 running on a iMac. I tried to set up a trackpad, but the Bluetooth utility said there was no bluetooth hardware. I rebooted in to the OS X side and verified that bluetooth was in the system and set up the trackpad. I then rebooted in to CentOS again and there was no Bluetooth icon in the panel for setting up BlueTooth devices, but I pressed the trackpad and it started working.

I get the following message on a Centos 5 system (really a Trixbox 2.4 build on Centos 5): Jan 14 00:12:28 sip2 kernel: hub 1-0:1.0: connect-debounce failed, port 1 disabled What does this mean? I have a dell inspiron 8200 laptop . Install went fine. After booting and using my laptop for a while my mouse pointer just disappears. Any ideas? Any way to restart my mouse pointer? I tried doing CTL-ALT+F1 and ALT_F7 thinking that would reinitialize the mouse but no. Only thing that works is reboot. THanks, Jerry

Hi all, I was just installing centos 5 on my new dv9000 hp laptop. Installed fine. on first boot, I got through welcome, firewall, selinux was on date time screen and did Forward to goto next screen (Create User) and the machines locks up. can ping any more or anything.... Any ideas? Jerry

Hi all - looks like I have a kernel dieing on me. This is an AMD 6400+ with 4 GIG ram. I am using ext3 and software raid on 500G drives. (2) of them. I have an external 1T usb disk connected for backup. This is running 2.6.23.9 as I wanted to use kvm-amd. It has died on me twice. Funny thing is it happens when I am NOT using the machine.
