sshd crashing on IRIX (3.6.1p1)
Occasionally, we're noticing that sshd is core dumping on our IRIX
6.5.18f machine.
The only time we've really noticed it is when users are logging in with
putty from offsite (although I'm not really sure it's a client issue).
The user manages to log in, sshd apparently core dumps, but the user is
not logged out, the privilege separated user is still running their own

[Bug 585] sshd core dumping on IRIX 6.5.18 with VerifyReverseMapping enabled
http://bugzilla.mindrot.org/show_bug.cgi?id=585
------- Additional Comments From dtucker at zip.com.au 2003-07-07 00:32 -------
dmalloc (http://dmalloc.com/) claims to work on IRIX. It's likely to increase
the CPU and memory load, though.
I've built with dmalloc on Linux thusly:
LDFLAGS=-ldmalloc ./configure && make
eval `dmalloc -l /path/to/log high`
./sshd [options]

security = ads, username map and valid users
I would like to use Samba (3.5.10 as supplied with RHEL6 if possible) to
make some directories accessible as a filesystem to (some of) our developers.
However, those directories are read and written by a web server, and all files
and directories in there should belong to www-data:www-data.
The obvious solution is a username map - just map everyone to www-data - but
then "valid

For packaging you want the install-nokeys rule not install.

rsync-2.4.7 NEWS file
I've gone through the CVS commit log and tried to get every
user-visible change since 2.4.6, so that we can make a proper
announcement for 2.4.7. Please let me know if anything is
missing/inaccurate.
At this stage I'm planning to release two 2.4.7pre tarballs, one with
the "large nohang patch" and one without. Some people inside VA will
be stress-testing both, and so we can
