remote DoS in sftp via crafted glob expressions (CVE-2010-4755)
Hi folks. We were made aware of a MITRE CVE assignment on OpenSSH for a remote DoS in sftp, described as: The (1) remote_glob function in sftp-glob.c and the (2) process_put function in sftp.c in OpenSSH 5.8 and earlier, as used in FreeBSD 7.3 and 8.1, NetBSD 5.0.2, OpenBSD 4.7, and other products, allow remote authenticated users to cause a denial of service (CPU and memory consumption) via

Parking in Asterisk 12.0.0
Hi I'm trying to get the rebuilt parking functionality to work in Asterisk 12.0.0. In Asterisk 11.6.0 I managed to get a call to get parked by adding a dynamic feature in features.conf for the DMTF sequence *# which called a macro in extensions.conf, which then runned the ParkAndAnnounce application, and the call got parked. The syntax for ParkAndAnnounce I used was this (I don't

difficulties computing a simple anova
My grasp of R and statistics are both seriously lacking, so if this question is completely naive, I apologize in advance. I've hunted for a couple hours on the internet and none of the methods I've found have produced the result I'm looking for. I'm currently a student in a Statistics class and we are learning the ANOVA. We had to do one by hand and then reproduce our work in SAS.

[2.5.2p1] openbsd-compat/glob.c: ARG_MAX not defined, alternative
Hi. On sparc-sun-sunos4.1.4 (i.e., -DSUNOS4), ARG_MAX is not defined anywhere, although <sys/limits.h> has the following line: #define _POSIX_ARG_MAX 4096 This is more a minimum imposed by POSIX than anything else. The proper solution revolves around this: ======================================================================== bash$ cat > x.c #include <unistd.h>

efficient code. how to reduce running time?
Hi, I am new to R. and even though I've made my code to run and do what it needs to . It is taking forever and I can't use it like this. I was wondering if you could help me find ways to fix the code to run faster. Here are my codes.. the data set is a bunch of 0s and 1s in a data.frame. What I am doing is this. I pick a column and make up a new column Y with values associated with that

How do I permit NT Administrator to manage ACL's on samba file server
How to manage my Samba ACLs from NT ? My administrator seemingly doesn't have the rights to change ACLs (ownership). And even though my administrator owns the fiels on the Samba machine it has no rights to change ACLs or ownership. The files are owned by "DOMAIN+Administrator" and group is "DOMAIN+Domain Admins". I have added the user to smbpasswd I think (how can I check

How do I permit NT Administrator to manage ACL's on s amba file server
It has been my experience that only the owner of the file and root change change ACLS on that file. Since you've stated that Administrator IS the owner, maybe there's something else. Are you getting any errors ? Who is the owner of the diretory that the folder resides in. Is the Administrator given write permissions at the share level? My work-around for modifying ACL's was to

binding asterisk-h323 on two interfaces
Hello all, I just installed chan_h323 by Jeremy (nufone) with asterisk-head. well, I have some questions if someone please briefly answer. 1 - can we configure h323 to work in g729 pass-thru mode, like we do in SIP. becaz I had to installed g729+intel libraries to work with g729. where as we don't need to install g729 to work in pass-thru mode. 2 - now most important question is

sftp tab completion patch (First release - NOT FOR INCLUDING YET)
This applies to the OpenBSD --current tree. Don't see why it shouldn't work under portable. Within the patch are the updates I need to make before I'll actually submit it for real, but I figured I'd make a public drop. Since I'm not on this list anymore keep me in the CC: if you want me to respond. I'll continue to work as time permits, but it would be nice if people

Revisiting sftp tab completion patch
I've finally took the time to figure the last few bugs (that I know of). This patch will be submit to be included in a few weeks. This patch should be generic enough for portable without too much hassle. This patch mimics OpenBSD's ftp behavior. I'm not sure like that (e.g. it doesn't put / at the end of directories by default), but that is more a question for the community

[LLVMdev] Purpose of LLVM_ENABLE_LIBCXX and LLVM_ENABLE_LIBCXXABI
Hi Michael, I am wondering about the meaning of the cmake flags LLVM_ENABLE_LIBCXX and > LLVM_ENABLE_LIBCXXABI. Are they used to indicate that if the C/C++ compiler > for building LLVM is clang, and if this clang has support for libc++ with > libc++Abi, that both lib++ and libc++abi should be used (instead of linking > to the default, which at least on Linux is libstdc++)? Yes that

Link statically against libc++ on Cray XC 40
Hi folks, In our scientific simulation tool, we set up our build system to link against LLVMSupport to print stack traces for debugging purposes, also from other compilers. This works very well on most hosts, but we fail to make it work with gcc on a Cray XC 40 cluster. They have a very restrictive toolchain setup (everything is controlled by the “module” command; you never get to see any real

Call for Papers: ManLang 2018 (Sept. 10-14, Linz, Austria)
Dear Person That Posted This Email, Please be aware that calls for papers are only on-topic for this email list if they are specifically about LLVM. For example, a call for a workshop on LLVM in Scientific Computing would be on topic whereas a general compiler call for papers (like the one below) is not. That said, I hope you receive many strong submissions. Your conference looks

When I run this now on the Target branch alone, it finds 22,000 errors from just simple things like lines too long, tabs and whitespace at the end of lines. More features to come. Usage: style_check.py arg1 arg2 ... argn [options] Options: -h, --help show this help message and exit --no-check-for-tabs don't check for tabs --no-check-line-length
