samba-tool dbcheck --cross-ncs --fix
Yes, should be possible, but i normaly do that after i do the following.
search for :
CN=58eba604-07e5-4c5d-a104-9e6f4907248f
And
CN=16b8c008-6c59-4b65-9f1b-530751904a75
In _msdc.dom.tld.
Verify which GUID is removed, you can see that, then remove the old server GUID.
Run :
dig CNAME 58eba604-07e5-4c5d-a104-9e6f4907248f._msdcs.ad.fvg.lnf.it

I'd like to fix two errors showing up in dbcheck whom hab been reported
by dbckech --cross-ncs for an long time but without causing any issues
so far.
I'm getting this error on my main dc

dbcheck and fix
Hi all!
I demoted a samba 4.10.8 (slackware 14.2) ad dc called DC1 and joined to the domain a samba 4.20.4 (debian 12.7) called DC3. There is also a samba 4.18.9 (slackware 15.0) ad dc called DC2 which for the moment holds all the FSMO roles. The whole replacing an ad dc with another one worked out great but when I run the command samba-tool dbcheck --cross-ncs on DC2 I got 3 "NOTES"

ERROR: Duplicate link values for attribute 'member'
I updated two AD DCs from version 4.6.12 to 4.7.4. Before the update,
both "samba-tool dbcheck" and "samba-tool --cross-ncs" gave no errors.
After updating, all seems well, including replication, except for this
error when running the above commands (private info sanitized):

Samba 4.5.0 dbcheck problems
Hi all,
I've now upgraded to Samba-4.5.2 and I've tried running:
samba-tool domain tombstones expunge
but I simpley get:
Removed 0 objects and 0 links successfully, however I'm still seeing
several hundred errors when running a dbcheck with the "not remocing
dangling forward link" error.
I've checked my time.py and it has been renamed so the expunge process

A db error that dbcheck tool can't fix
Hi,
It appears to be an error in dbcheck, where we're making assertions on
the primaryGroupID despite the fact that it is dealing with an inactive
link. It should be safe to ignore, and should disappear once the stale
link is deleted permanently after the usual tombstone period. There
probably needs to be a bug filed though, to make sure we fix this
unintended error.
Cheers,
Garming

Don't worry, your sanity is not affected. My mail provider had changed
submission policy without a sufficient notification, causing my transit mail
server to block mail queue since last August.

Joining a Windows Server 2008 R2 to existing Samba4 domain
Hi Marc,
Unfortunately, I have around 600 of these errors.
I've tested manually deleting an offending entry using ldbedit -H and the
subsequent dbcheck test goes down by 1 so this would suggest that I can fix
it this way... although not sure if this is:
a. A good idea
b: The best way to fix this.
Any pointers most welcome.
Thanks,
Chris.
