migrate from win2012srv to samba 4.1.17-Sernet-Debian-9.wheezy
I just go down in the script and found an acl called "thisserverip" with
value SETIPPDC1.
And this variable is used for this line :
listen-on port 53 {"thisserverip", 127.0.0.1; ];
Is it not strange that the pdc1 windows server Ip is coming here?
Thanks.

migrate from win2012srv to samba 4.1.17-Sernet-Debian-9.wheezy
Hello,
I'm trying to join a debian/samba4 to a win 2012 srv with this scripts :
https://secure.bazuin.nl/scripts/this_is_the_old_set_of_scripts/
( the join method is available only on "this_is_the_old_set_of_scripts")
I'm facing different problems with the dns (bind9)
My question is :
in 2-setup-sernet-samba4-ADDC-wheezy-JOIN-DC.sh script, What value
should I put for SETIPDC1

Bug#708344: xen: serial passthrough broken in Debian Wheezy
Package: src:linux
Version: 3.2.41-2
Severity: important
Hello,
I just discovered a strange bug with serial passthrough in xen 4.1 on
Debian Wheezy. The Dom0 has a GSM modem connected to serial port. The
serial port is passed through to a DomU with options 'irq = [ 4 ]' and
'ioports = [ '3f8-3ff ]'.
This worked as expected on Debian Squeeze with Xen 4.0 and Linux kernel

2.2.x autobuilds: Debian Stable now Wheezy, which pool for 2.2.x?
List, good evening, just installed a new Debian Stable (Wheezy). The
Debian Stable repositories now include Dovecot 2.1.7 as standard. I
haven't installed that because I wanted to try 2.2.x on this new clean
install but unsure which 'pool' to use in the xi.rename-it.nl
repository of autobuilds.

Wheezy became Stable on May 5, just a few days

[HowTo] Installing Samba and sssd on Debian Wheezy (with manual backport)
Hi everyone,
A couple of weeks ago I wanted to install Samba and sssd on a Debian
Wheezy server. The Samba version from the wheezy-backports repo looks
and feels fairly well packaged by now and is updated to the upstream
version, so in my opinion that's the way to go. As regards sssd, I
wanted a version supporting the AD backend (the one in the Wheezy
repos doesn't), so I backported it

Samba Debian Packages Wheezy 4.7.7
Hello List,
I maintain an private backport of samba for debian wheezy. Tried to
integrate all appliable changes from the debian sid repo till 4.7.5. For
4.7.6 and 4.7.7 i only bumped the source packages.
The packages do not require any packages from wheezy backports.
Therefore I did not integrate glusterfs, cephfs and snapper support.
Using it on production on an dozen wheezy servers here

Asterisk 12 on Debian Wheezy
Hello,
A couple of questions in relation with Asterisk 12 on Debian Wheezy.
1. Can paquet libpjproject-dev (from wheezy-backport) be installed as
the sole binary to add PJSIP stack to Asterisk 12 (compiled from
source) ?
2. When compiling PJPROJECT from source (see
https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/Building+and+Installing+pjproject?src=search)),
where should PJSIP .so files be located
