Help with ATSVC
Hello All,
I'ma developer from Brazil and I'm studying samba sources. Now I'm trying
to build a sample application with samba 4 sources. It's quite simple, I
just
want to pick the time from a given remote windows machine, and then schedule
a job 2 minutes after that using atsvc. I think I'm messing up because I
simply
don't understand completely the meaning of the

Windows guest and virtio serial port
Okay, I've updated virtio serial drivers to latest ones. This did not
help. Afterwards I've enabled "Show hidden devices" in Device manager
of a guest os.In the "Other devices" section I can see two virtio serial ports with
question marks (i did configure guest with 2 virtio channels).
Is this a normal behaviour?

AIX 6.1 Problem with module WINBIND
Hello,
I'm new on this list, here's the problem we are experiencing :
We have installed pware61-64.samba.3.6.0.0.bff.gz on an Aix partition running on 6100-06-05-1115.
We have succeeded in entering the system in our AD.
We can reach the domain : commands /opt/pware/bin/wbinfo -a USERNAME is correct.
The problem is that lsuser -R WINBIND don't work : message "User does not

smbclient queue command issue
Help or suggestions please:
When using smbclient to handle printing from a AIX system to a windows
print queue somethings work and others do not. I have been able to
print without issues to the windows print queue. But I cannot get a
listing of the print jobs in a print queue. This is important so the
UNIX users can take action on thier print jobs.
I'm not sure which why to turn at this

pware SAMBA 3.5.11 WINBIND failing to load upon AIX 7.1
Hello,
I have been failing to configure the pware compiled version of SAMBA
3.5.11, prepared for AIX 6.1, upon an AIX 7.1 system to work in an ADS
domain and I wondered if anyone might be able to advise on what I should
do next. I am trying to setup the AIX server as a file server within the
ADS domain so that users can be recognised in an SSO configuration. I am
pretty confident that the krb

RFC: DenseMap grow() slowness
There’s a few passes in LLVM that make heavy use of a big DenseMap, one that potentially gets filled with up to 1 entry for each instruction in the function. EarlyCSE is the best example, but Reassociate and MachineCSE have this to some degree as well (there might be others?). To put it simply: at least in my profile, EarlyCSE spends ~1/5 of its time growing DenseMaps. This is kind of… bad.

admin 'rehash' broken in icecast 1.3.12?
I tried admin rehash for the first time since upgrading to 1.3.12 today. The
rehash took at least 30 seconds [If not longer -- I didn't time it very
closely] and icecast slowly snuck up to 99% CPU usage. I tried issuing the
'alias' command just to try and get a response from the console and that
never responded. [I waited about two minutes]
I had the same experience both of my

Building Dynamic DOM Element IDs for RJS Templates
My element IDs are constructed using the object id. So . . .
<div id="foo<%= foo.id %>" >
<p><%= link_to_remote "Do Foo", :url =>{:action => "do", :id =>
foo.id} %>
</div>
How do, and can I, build that id in the RJS template?
Also, can anyone recommend a good Ruby syntax book that would help me
out with Rails? I know

Free MOH MP3
Hello All,
Sorry to rehash a question I am sure has shown several time but I cannot
google up the answer from the lists.
Does anyone know where I can get some royalty free, cost free music for
my music on hold?
I saw someone's post several weeks ago that said that this exists at a
download site but I have not been able to find it.
Thanks!

I have installed rbenv on my development machine and got it working.
For now I run 1.8.7.

[LLVMdev] SVN (?) Migration

There was much debate about which version control system to switch to
(please search the llvm-dev mailing list). Git was mentioned and
discussed. The end decision was to use SVN.
I think its best not to rehash this discussion. We have already begun the
steps to convert to SVN.
There is no perfect version

List search question
Hello everyone,
I'm a new member here at Samba lists. I've been a lightweight Samba user
for several years, but now I am investigating replacing our Active Directory
domain with a pure Samba domain. I already have a few questions, but before
I start posting them I though I'd ask about searching the list archives. I
might be missing something here, but I haven't found a way to

Samba 3.6.0.0 w/AD Support on AIX 6.1 - Error w/Authentication
Hello,
I've installed the pware AIX 64bit version of Samba and support filesets but I am having an issue with authentication between the local server user and the equivalent AD user of our domain and it will not mount the respective Samba share on my Windows desktop. Here is how our environment is setup:

[LLVMdev] Getting Started
Hi Joe, thanks for working on this.
My honest opinion on it is that time would be better spent improving
the documentation, as the current documentation is archaic. I think
this has come up on the list before, but to rehash:
* Start out by saying "LLVM can be built with make or CMake, and
checked out with svn or git", and have "make", "CMake", "svn", and
