Need help changing user password
Hi! I am currently using Samba4 Alpha13 but I have not been able to change a users password. I curently can add a user using ldbadd and a ldif file but I would like to know the recommended way of changing a users password. It would be nice if it could be done from the adminstrator account so that you do not need to know the original password. Thanks for the help! MS

Port 2 is conencted via a cross-over cable to a RAS for modem access and port 3 is connected for data communication via PPP. Now, I want to freshen this setup to something newer. Centos5 installer hangs up with promise sata controller on board
Hi, curently running centos4.4 with a board having promise sata controller. If I try to update to centos-5, the installer hangs up. No problems under centos-4.4. loginrec.c license
Hi. I am trying to figure out, is loginrec.c (and loginrec.h) licensed under the 4-point BSD license or one without the advertising clause? I'm developing a small ssh2 server (Dropbear), and curently everything is under MIT/X license. I'd prefer not to have to add any advertising clauses, and reinventing the wheel also seems kind of pointless. Looking at the cvs logs, I can't see any

Allow POP3 per Domain
Hi List, I wonder, if it is possible to "switch" POP3 on or off for specific domains. Actually I want to disallow POP3-logins for a certain domain, whereas users can still login into a webinterface via IMAP. Curently I use Dovecot 1.1.11 on current Ubuntu 9.10 with a mySQL backend for authentication. With kind regards Hauke

Teles PCI and chan_capi, possible ???
Hello! I'm curently using * with two old Teles PCI card (wich, btw, were hard to install and make good use of) with ISDN4Linux. The sound quality is simply perfect. However both dialing in and out through the ISDN line, there seems to be a _little_ bit of echo that eventually gets on your nerves ! Also the echo seems to get a _little_ bigger after a minute or so into the conversation. Now,

RHEL 6 <-> CentOS 6 ?
Hi ! We are curently deploying an 8 nodes cluster where we have a RHEL 6 license at great costs (~14 k$/y). It will be our new production environment for mission-critical services. Now our aging developpement server (old p4 with 1.5 gig of ram) need to be updated. We will be installing on hardware as close as possible to the new production servers, just not in a rack... Handling invariant.groups with equality + marking it as experimental
Hi folks, I would like to ask for some help with handling invariant.group metadata for pointer comparison. Currently, we have a problem with devirtualization of this code: void compare() { A* a = new A; a->foo(); A* b = new(a) B; if (a == b) { b->foo(); } } Now because it is legal to replace b with an in the branch the vtable load will use old pointer operand
