problem using nsd
Hello I have this problem since a week or so: The nsd daemon crashes unexpectedly and the nsd log files shows this: [1200299533] nsd[3736]: info: XSTATS 1200299533 1200298484 RR=0 RNXD=0 RFwdR=0 RDupR=0 RFail=0 RFErr=0 RErr=0 RAXFR=0 RLame=0 ROpts=0 SSysQ=0 SAns=40 SFwdQ=0 SDupQ=0 SErr=0 RQ=37 RIQ=0 RFwdQ=0 RDupQ=0 RTCP=0 SFwdR=0 SFail=30 SFErr=0 SNaAns=0 SNXD=0 RUQ=0 RURQ=0 RUXFR=0 RUUpd=1

Processing "BIND8-like" statistics
I wonder how to process the statistics logged by nsd. We compile with --enable-bind8-stats and I thought we would be able to reuse the Perl script that translated our BIND8 statistics to MRTG. But the script has problems, probably because nsd has several daemons, not just one, and each one is logging statistics. Aug 4 10:34:01 ns2 nsd[24573]: NSTATS 1059986041 1059979224 A=292259 NS=4886

allow-notify SUBNET and request-xfr inconsistency
Hi list, We are observing strange behavior of nsd v3.2.9 acting as slave DNS server. The environment is set up as follows: 0. We are using 172.16.0.0/16 subnet; 1. Primary Master server at 172.16.100.114; 2. Slave server at 172.16.100.115. The config file is in /etc/nsd-dns-slave.conf; 3. There may be also other Master servers im the given subnet. Now I want to permit DNS NOTIFY messages to

Squid and first-level subdirectories & second-level subdirectories on ext3/4
Squid, a proxy, is by its nature, storing large amounts of relatively small files in it's cache. As config optins it's offering: # 'Level-1' is the number of first-level subdirectories which # will be created under the 'Directory'. The default is 16. # # 'Level-2' is the number of second-level subdirectories which # will be created under

Routes working with subdirectories repeat subdirectory...
Hi all. Views associated with admin controllers must always specify both :controller and :action when using link_to. Example: <%= link_to ''Edit'', { :controller => ''/raid_manager'', :action => ''edit_raid_template'', :id => raid_template.id } %> The above is being called from within the Admin::RaidManagerController. storing views in subdirectories?
I''d like to organize my project structure by storing certain related views into a subdirectory. For example, I have a bunch of interviews which each contain their own view (the client doesn''t want them content managed, or put in the database). Right now I have them placed inside "app/views/site/interview_one.rhtml", "app/views/site/interview_two.rhtml", etc.

Newbie question: subdirectories in app/models
For organizational purposes, I would like to create subdirectories in my apps/model/ directory. Is there any easy way to do this while still having the ability to refer to the derived active record class models? I.e. apps/models/blog/post.rb: class Post < ActiveRecord::Base ... end Post.new ... Putting fixtures into subdirectories
I want to organize my fixtures just like the namespace of my models. So for example if I have a model Company::Employee I''d like the fixture to be in fixtures/company/employees.yml. However, I can''t figure out how to specify the path of the fixture file. If I do: fixtures :employees in my unit test it can''t find the fixture file. Any suggestions? Thanks, Todd

Newbie question: How to reference models in subdirectories
Hi, new to RoR I am probably going to embarrass myself now: I have models organised in subdirectories, i.e. models |--material |--product.rb |--cross-applications |--currency.rb When I try to reference another model within the same subdirectory, everything works fine, i.e. belongs_to :product_categories, :class_name => ''Material::ProductCategory"

Fixtures subdirectories
Hi, [This is a repost, I can?t find where went my previous post, ] I wanted to create subdirectories in the fixtures directory in order to be able to manage many different initial states for my system (or to sort fixtures / corresponding model subpackages). I came up with the idea of writing: Test::Unit::TestCase.fixture_path = RAILS_ROOT + "/test/fixtures/selling"

Separating models, controllers, etc. into subdirectories
I''d like to organize my models, controllers, helpers, and even toplevel view directories into subdirectories. There are so many files in my rails app that it is getting unwieldy to find files in a list. Is there a correct way to do this so that things don''t break? I tried putting the model files in subdirectories; some pages seemed to work (models loaded fine), while

SELinux - different context on subdirectories
Hi all, I have created a directory /srv with the following SELinux context: system_u:object_r:var_t Now I want to create a subdirectory within /srv which should get a different context. So I tried to set e.g.: semanage fcontext -a -t samba_share_t /srv/samba /sbin/restorecon -v /srv/samba but the context is always reset to: system_u:object_r:var_t What am I missing? subdirectories in generator template directory
Hi all, I''m trying to create a generator. As there are quite a few files in my generator i decided it would be a good idea to make some subdirectories in the template directory. But now i can''t seem to copy the files from these subdirectories with the file method. For example: record do |m| m.file

order of subdirectories and nut-usbinfo.pl
Arnaud, should we move tools/ up to the beginning of the subdirectory list? It seems that it is writing some *.in files during 'make dist', which should undergo variable substitution. (There will probably be other dependency issues to resolve, but that would be the first step.) On a related note, I would like to add some code to nut-usbinfo.pl to blacklist bogus vendor IDs (e.g. 0x0000,

How to have a directory and its subdirectories as a storage pool
Hi, I would like to use btrfs subvolumes as storage place for VM images to use snapshots. Unfortunately, this does not seem to work in virt-manager at least since the "filesystem directory" storage pool type does not allow me to descend into subdirectories. Is there a trick to do this? Can I do it with virsh, or in the XML? Greetings Marc --
