v2.2.30 released
At least doveconf -n output would help. I guess related to authentication settings. Are there any errors in logs? > On 1 Jun 2017, at 12.14, Odhiambo Washington <odhiambo at gmail.com> wrote: > >> On 30 May 2017 at 21:16, Timo Sirainen <tss at iki.fi> wrote: >> >> https://dovecot.org/releases/2.2/dovecot-2.2.30.tar.gz >>

Can someone tell me if there are time limit of correct synchronization of domain controller turned off for a long time (like some days)? If yes what should be the time limit and what is better do when need to poweron domain controller that has passed that time? Can there be issue with

GlusterFS as virtual machine storage
Hi all, I would like to ask if, and with how much success, you are using GlusterFS for virtual machine storage. My plan: I want to setup a 2-node cluster, where VM runs on the nodes themselves and can be live-migrated on demand. I have some questions: - do you use GlusterFS for similar setup? - if so, how do you feel about it? - if a node crashes/reboots, how the system re-syncs? Will the VM

online conversion using replication?
With a single server - and no intent to have a second server online at this time - is it possible to use the replication service to keep a "live" backup? Or otherwise perform a storage format conversion? I'm presently using sdbox - and considering going back to mdbox though without SIS.? My intent now is ONLY a 1-way backup, to be kept current, and no clients will utilize the

Support of INDEXPVT in Dovecot 2.3 with replication
At the moment the correct way to use shared folders in a replication pair is to access them with imapc from the other pair. dovecot replication (active-active) - server specs
Hello, i have some questions about the new dovecot replication and mdbox format. my company has currently 3 old dovecot 2.0.x fileserver/backend with ca. 120k mailboxes and ca. 6 TB data used. They are synchronised per drbd/corosync. Each fileserver/backend have ca. 40k mailboxes im Maildir format. Our MX server is delivering ca. 30 GB new mails per day. Two IMAP proxy server get the

Master-Master replication question
Dear list, I have setup a master-master replication setup. My primairy MX's send email over on a DNS loadbalanced way, so DNS is doing some kind of round-robin way of sending mail to both master servers. I found out, that on one of the two machines, the email synchronisation is heavily delayed. Lets assume server A receives a mail from the MX; it synchronises almost instantly with the other

Trying Dovecot Replication with dsync
Hi, I have a failover cluster for mail server with: Ubuntu12.04 + DRBD (for block replication) + Ext4 filesystem + Dovecot-2.0.19-2 with Mdbox It works fine with ~50k accounts. My cluster design: http://adminlinux.com.br/cluster_design.txt I plan to test Dovecot Replication with dsync to build an active/active cluster with load balancing. Can anyone direct me to some literature? A tutorial

Question about replication
Good morning, I?m looking at dovecot replication for the first time for a particular use case: The VM running dovecot is currently in a public cloud, and I want to move it on-premises, so I want to replicate all mail data from the older instance to the new (then cutover internal DNS) (and in the process update to newer features on the internal instance such as mdbox vs Maildir). However, the

Replication to wrong mailbox
It happened now twice that replication created folders and mails in the wrong mailbox :( Here's the architecture we use: - 2 Dovecot (2.2.32) backends in two different datacenters replicating via a VPN connection - Dovecot directors in both datacenters talks to both backends with vhost_count of 100 vs 1 for local vs remote backend - backends use proxy dict via a unix domain socket and socat

replication and .dovecot.lda-dupes
Hi list, this question was already posted a few years ago (https://www.dovecot.org/list/dovecot/2014-November/098585.html). I already asked the original queriest and he told me, that he never got an solution or workaround but it was not important enough for him. When using replication in conjunction with sieve vacations, the .dovecot.lda-dupes file is not synced with the other server. So when
