samba 4 domain join to win 2008r2 level DC w/ a schema with exchange 2010 extensions: replication after the join is broken
I tried to join a samba4 to a win2008r2 level domain (OS level 2012) running exchange 2010. The join succeeds but the later replication is broken due to schema differences. In order to to find the cause, I started a test setup with: * a win2008r2 DC w/ minimal AD * upgraded the schema and the OS to 2012 (function level is still 2008r2) * and added a exchange server to the domain. And that is

Joining Samba4 to Domain as DC with Small Business Server 2008 - error with Exchange ldap entries
Hi All I'm trying to join and existing Windows domain with Samba4, on Centos 6.5 Final. I initially tried with the Centos rpm's but it seems the samba-tools didn't exist so I am now using the rpms from SerNet Enterprise SAMBA. The current DC is a Windows Small Business Server 2008 that provides file, print, DNS, DHCP, AD and MS exchange/Outlook Web access. The domain Company.local

Wine 0.9 - IE - OWA
Hi guys Has anyone have any workarounds with Internet Explorer 6 not displaying the mailbox on Outlook Web Access properly? My specs: Wine 0.9 on FC4, IE6 installed using ies4linux The problems (as I can see): the right-click context menu on the mailbox doesn't work (it doesn't display anything) and the compose email interface is missing the place where you can actually type your mail

Comparing figures?
Hello, I am working on tests to compare figures. I have been using ImageMagick, which creates a figure signature, and I can compare a "test" figure signature against a saved "reference" figure signature. It seems to work pretty well. However, it is slow as it requires reading from the file system. Are there any options to compare figures on memory? For example, if I

Outlook Web Access behind shorewall firewall doesn''t work
Hello, I have a MS Exchange (small business server) that was just upgraded to 2003, behind a bering (shorewall) firewall. OWA is experiencing the issues described in the following technet article: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;280823 OWA displays Loading, and does not display properly. I am already running over https. (ports 80 and 443 are DNATed to the server).

Comparing figures?
I suggest perceptual diff. You could write a wrapper around it. http://pdiff.sourceforge.net On Mon, 7 May 2018 16:49 Ramiro Barrantes, <ramiro at precisionbioassay.com> wrote: > Hello, > > I am working on tests to compare figures. testing samba 4 alongside samba 3
** hello folks, all started with searching for an MS exchange server connector to fetch my office my by Thunderbord on my private machine. So far I used Davmaill (OWA) but I'm not that satisfied, so I found OpenChange but that needs Samba4 installed on my NAS. So I was checking the Samba wiki and mailing archive but I'm bit confused. There are several version available, plus franky, what

Spiral SIP Request problem
Hello, I am using OpenSIPS to register all the users and planning to use asterisk for Auto Attendant, Queues, Voicemail and Conference Bridge. I have a scenario where the signaling does not happen properly: 1) A user from Opensips dials an extension 7000 which is an auto-attendant extension. The call is routed to asterisk to play the auto attendant messages like Welcome and Dial the

[LLVMdev] [GSoC] Interface layer for optimizers
Hi folks, I like open technologies, epecially LLVM compiler. I want to implement a new interface layer in LLVM to plug-in optimizers as a part of GSoC, and then load the interface with optimizers. This would improve LLVM application for people who want to use their optimizations in compilers. The first "educative" step is to add Doxygen (for .h files) to the build and integrate it

[LLVMdev] Porting ASan to AArch64
Hello, I have been working on porting ASan to AArch64. I am building compiler-rt in "standalone mode" targeting aarch64. My build is successful, but I get the following runtime error when I run an ASan enabled executable through qemu-aarch64: ==29184==Parsed ASAN_OPTIONS: verbosity=1 ==29184==AddressSanitizer: failed to intercept '__isoc99_printf' ==29184==AddressSanitizer:

simple load balancing/failover for OWA
We are building an exchange cluster with two front end Outlook Web Access servers. We would like to at least have some sort of failover, and prefereably load balancing for them. The MS recommended way is to use NLB, but for various reasons that's not working with our set up. We are looking to set up a single linux server and use something like LVS to load balance/fail over the

Gluster deamon fails to start
As far as the peer status (and I now remember seeing this earlier) the issue appears to be that the host name for gsaov07 is attempting to resolve over the wrong network for gluster "ent...." and not "stor.local". So, it may be as simple as removing gsaov07 as a peer, then probing over the correct network. I'll follow up with the Engine log. Sent using OWA for iPhone

Moving email between folders outside of IMAP context
I'd like to run a script from cron that will scan certain mailboxes and move selected mail from one folder (usually INBOX) to another folder. The basic idea is to move previously detected spam based on headers prepended to the mail. Since I am not able to figure out how to get Postfix to invoke deliver with the -m option in these cases, and not in others, this is one idea I have come up with

Too much memory cache being used while moving large file
System : CentOS 4.2 2.6.9-22.0.1.ELsmp System fully up-to-date. 3GB RAM 3ware 9000S card, with Raid5 array. I think that's about all relevant info ... Had file on disk (not array), attempted to mv file to array. Went fine till 2.4GB was copied, then it slowed down to a meg every few minutes. Free memory was ~50MB (Typically is 1.5-2GB), and cache was 2.5GB. Stopped the move, however cache

IMAP voice mail storage
Hello, all. I am attempting to use IMAP voice mail storage in Asterisk 1.6.1.1 on CentOS 5.3 using Zimbra 5.1.6. I will not be using it as it has proved terribly unstable - Asterisk segfaults on every voice mail message although the message is successfully deliver to my email inbox - but I thought I should report it. Localhost imap server fails after upgrade from 2.2.33.2-1 to 1:2.3.2.1
I use a localhost dovecot imap server in order to access maildir folders from Alpine (see 2009 instructions for my set up here https://cpbl.wordpress.com/2009/11/07/alpine-offlineimap-and-gmail-under-ubuntu/ ) My configuration has worked nicely since 2009, but failed after a recent upgrade of dovecot (during basic upgrade from Ubuntu 18.04 to 18.10). The version of Alpine did not change.
