dovecot bulletins?
As a long term user of qpopper with bulletins, I'd like to know if the
bulletin feature is planned for dovecot? I really miss bulletins :-),
this is very convenient way of providing information to users.
Best regards,

plot & xlim/ylim & range of axis
Dear mailing list readers!
Using R and the plot function I stumbled over this little issue:
plot(x=NULL,
y=NULL,
xlim=range(1:10),
ylim=range(1e-9:1),
log="y")
produces an plot empty plot, where the y-axis is in the specified range.
Changing ylim to
ylim=range(1e-9:1e-3)
creates an y-axis in the range of 1e-12 to 1e-6. This appearance of the
y-axis is a

Sorry to bring this up again.
I have now configured my test server to pass all email messages off to
our central campus email filter gateway. This gateway scans all email
traffic for viruses/spam before being delivered to any local mail servers.
Once I did this my auto vacation replies are getting canned due to the
fact the from header line is empty

ps-output and LaTeX/DVIPS/PS2PDF - Greek letters disappear
Hello!
My graphs are produced using the "postscript"-option in R (R version
2.10.1 (2009-12-14)). When Greek letters are used on the axis,
everything looks fine in the *.ps-file. If included in a LaTeX-file and
(on Ubuntu 10.04, fresh install), the Greek letters appear in the DVI-
and PS-output, however, if converted with ps2pdf they suddenly
disappear. Could anyone suggest a

post-login scripting using PHP
I'd like to write post-login script using PHP. I noticed every shell
post-login script ends with: exec "$@", which effectively executes
dovecot's script-login.
However, while I try to do the same (?) in PHP: $prog = $argv[1]; exec
("$prog"); it doesn't work. The client timeouts, dovecot (2.0.6) says
"Disconnected for inactivity".
May be I don't

Vacation message functionality
Hi,
Since I will soon be attempting to get this working on one of my
client's systems, I posed a question on the postfix list - since they
mostly dislike vacation messages - but *ardent haters* of badly
configured vacation message systems - as to the quality of the dovecot
vacation message function. The only response I got did seem to have a
few very good suggestions for additional

assertion failed while using sieve
Hi,
there is a line in TODO: "- sieve-cmu.c crash: i_assert(buf->used - 1 ==
part->body_size.physical_size); ". Yes, we've really seen this crash.
Therefore we upgraded to dovecot-1.2.3 with dovecot-1.2-sieve-0.1.11 in
order to use sieve plugin (i.e. not cmu-sieve). We use Solaris 10 on Sun
servers, we don't use NFS.
However, unfortunately, dovecot with sieve crashes

Plot of a subset of a data.frame()
Hello,
my data.frame is sort of a collection of process values, i.e. huge
run-chart. It consists of a time-stamp in the first column (date as
string), factors in the following columns (used for subset-filtering),
and some process-data columns.
Hereafter, two examples are listed, showing the problems that occour
during print:
At first the example, that works fine:

Problems sending more than 2 SMS with asterisk / smsq
When i send more than one messages shortly after the other, my log
(/var/spool/asterisk/sms ) looks like this
and only two of four messages arrive.
What am i doing wrong ?
I am using an AVM B1 PCI with chan-capi and 1.4.4.
and also, when sending with smsq -x only two of the messages are handled.
(i thought, asterisk itself handles the queues ? )
Here the log:

Multiple vacation
Hi all
I'm using Dovecot 2.2.9 and I'm having problems configuring multiple
vacation actions.
The problem is that I'd like to have two different senders and two
different messages, selecting the correct case by the recipient email
address.
I mean, if someone writes me to my email address "to-address1 at example.com"
I'd like to answer from "from-address1 at

vacation rule addresses
Hello everyone,
We have Dovecot 2.1.6 and Pigeonhole 0.3.0.
We would like Pigeonhole not to send the vacation response to noreply at whatever.com<mailto:noreply at whatever.com>. In this wiki http://wiki2.dovecot.org/Pigeonhole/Sieve/Usage#Vacation_auto-reply are showed the different exceptions, but the noreply is not in there.
How can I add this address, or another one, to this exception

sieve 0.1.14: vacation encodes Subject twice
Hi!
I noticed the following problem in dovecot-1.2-sieve-0.1.14:
The following vacation causes trouble with the Subject line:
if not exists ["List-Id", "List-Post"] {
vacation :days 7 :addresses ["test at netcologne.de"] :subject "=?utf-8?b?w4TDlsOc?= sadasd" "Bin gerade nicht hier.";
}
As you can see, the Subject is already MIME encoded
