Hi, I'm trying to convert users from a sendmail server to a postfix/dovecot server. All works fine but one of the last things is to rescue the messages in /var/mail/<user> on the old server. Greetings everyone, I'm new to the list as of today. I just installed Dovecot a couple of days ago for the first time, Debian Lenny Dovecot v1.0.15-2.3. So far I'm pretty impressed. I'm using mbox format with Dovecot auto-deciding to place mail in user home directories, which is great. All, My dovecot install works great except for one error I keep seeing this in my logs. The folder has 7138 messages in it. I am informed the user they needed to reduce the number of messages in the folder and believe this will fix the problem. My question is about where the problem lies. Is the problem related to an internal limit with Dovecot v2.0.15 or with my Debian (3.1.0-1-amd64)?
