Segmentation fault with doveadm search
Hi, We have a Ubuntu 14.04 server with dovecot 2.2.9 If I try to run /usr/bin/doveadm search -u email at exmaple.com mailbox Junk savedbefore 30d It will dump a core file. We have a similar config on an other server and there is no problem there. Any ideas how to prevent the core dump? root at triws2:~# gdb --args doveadm search -u email at example.com mailbox Junk savedbefore 30d Reading

Debugging test72
When attempting to save a message from the INBOX to a folder in a collection (like, .projects.dovecot), I get behavior like this (in GDB). Any clue what might be going wrong? Dovecot: Mails flagged as read get flagged as unread
Hi all We experience some unexpected behavior with dovecot. It happens that emails marked as read get marked as unread (MUA is Thunderbird on port 143). Unfortunately this happens randomly, reproducing this issue is difficult. We could not find any pattern, it happens rarely. We are running dovecot version 2.2.24 on Debian Jessie (backports repository). /root at dovecot01:~# dovecot --version//

Dovecot 1.1rc3 crashes with Dbox + imap_quota plugin
Version: Dovecot v1.1.rc3 OS: CentOS 5 running in OpenVZ CPU: x86_64 Was running fine with maildir and decided to get dbox a try. Test user created with a dbox mailstore backend and when a client logs in that tries to run a getquotaroot imap command the process SIGSEGV's. Have been able to narrow it down to dbox crashing against dict quota as well as dirsize. Maildir works just fine.

pop3c migration?
Hi, I'm running dsync migrations using imapc and the source IMAP server is just too slow. It has taken 8 hours to migrate a mailbox with 47,000 messages. It seems most of the mailboxes are never accessed with IMAP, so it would be just as good to migrate them via POP3 which should work faster in my case. Is this actually meant to work? doveadm -D -o pop3c_user=xxxxxx at example.com -o

Errors with missing links to files when using Single Instance Storage and zlib (Dovecot 2.3.4)
I'm running Dovecot 2.3.4 with Single Instance Storage (SIS) and zlib and I am frequently seeing errors where files are missing in the attachments directory even though the zipped file in the hash directory is actually there.? This appears not to have been an issue in Dovecot 2.3.1 Requested output of the server below. The error looks like this in the log Dec 18 08:58:58 dovecot01

Configuration advice needed.
Hello, First, thanks for this great piece of software. I'm new to dovecot and i've just converted my old courier configuration on pop/imap server side, everithing is working just fine on this side and speed gain expected was found (not enough for our busy servers :). Setup is done with 3 dovecot virtual servers load balanced with a Hardware load balancer (this part is a big point of the

Maildir loses keywords in index beyond 26
(NOTE: I am not on the mailing list so please Cc: me.) dovecot-1.1.6-2.fc10.i386 (configuration not changed from stock) Fedora 10 AMD Athlon XP ext3 Maildir format doesn't store keywords in the index properly -- it goes up to 26 and then further keywords are dropped. Errors with missing links to files when using Single Instance Storage and zlib (Dovecot 2.3.4)
Having had a week with the system I'm now inclined to believe that the issues I've seen are not necessarily related to SIS and zlib but may be due to replication instead. After experiencing these issues and looking at historical mailing list posts I wrote a basic script (as was suggested as a possible diagnostic approach for SIS before SIS was even implemented!) which pulled all the

Quota count does not work with lock_method=dotlock
Hello, dovecot crashes when I switch the quota tracking from dict to count. The following is working since years: quota = dict:User quota::proxy::quota I'm using a mysql quota dictionary. Now I want to switch to the new "quota count" + "quota clone" combination. I'm loading the "quota_clone" plugin, and: #quota = dict:User quota::proxy::quota

dsync-local crashes due to assertion failures
Hi, I have two servers that share nothing, running dovecot version 2.2.9. The first server hosts the original mail base, which I want to sync using dovecot to the second server. With some trial and error I managed to get synchronisation running using tcp sockets. Now for some accounts I see dsync-local crashing on the server that has the original mail base (which is still the only of the two
