I just tried to migrate one of my users from maildir to mdbox using dsync. My conversion script is checking the dsync exit code to know if the conversion goes fine or not, and surprisingly dsync returned "0" at the same time as it gave the error: Error: Failed to sync mailbox .ta\ vare\ p? ... I am using qmail-ldap to provide virtual users to my system, but I also have some shell users on the system as well. Virtual users go into /home/vmail/mailstore/$username/ System users go into /home/$username/Maildir How can I have both of these available as inboxes in dovecot using ldap logins? I'm working on migrating IMAP users from Mirapoint Message Servers to Dovecot servers. The Mirapoint IMAP server uses INBOX as a namespace for private mailboxes. I created the same namespace in Dovecot, but when I migrate mailboxes dsync seems to ignore/miss the namespace on Mirapoint and I end up with all mailboxes under a INBOX.INBOX hierarchy. I hit an issue yesterday with a corrupt file (index?) that was preventing the mailbox from being synced properly? As soon as I removed the file the dsync worked.?
