master/master replications v. 2.2.32
Hi, in the past I set up a master/master replication through TCP using dovecot 2.2.10 on both servers and everything is running fine, I filter the users to replicate using the iterate_query on file dovecot-sql.con.ext; now I want to set up a new replication between two new servers running dovecot 2.2.32 but the replicator service tries to replicate every user on my database even when the

replication newbie: some beginner questions
Am 22.04.20 um 09:41 schrieb Stefan G. Weichinger: > iterate_query = SELECT username as user FROM mailbox Ok, we enabled the 2 users and they synced (after a restart of one dovecot, btw). What irritates me: on the new server I find less files in /home/vmail than on the old server. So something is skipped or so. I try to compare now ..

Unexpected accounts showing up in replication status (doveadm replicator status '*')
I have a replication set up with two dovecot 2.3.4 servers. Messages appear to be replicating fine between them, however there is an oddity when I run doveadm replicator status '*' and I'm worried work is being carried out needlessly. Both machines have identical configs and have a mysql backend for username/passwords.? Both machines point to the same mysql server and same

Dsync replication - delayed replication (Sync lock)
Hi, *Our setup:* Two Debian 10 machines that are setup to replicate mail between them, we have round robin DNS setup so a user can connect to either server. *What should happen:* Mail is delivered to either server and replicated across straight away to their mailbox on the other server so it does not matter which one they are connected to they will receive it fairly soon after delivery.

replicator: Panic: data stack: Out of memory when allocating 268435496 bytes
One step further in my quest to create a replacement mail server. I now have my old mail server (2.3.19.1, macOS + MacPorts) and my new (2.3.20, Alpine Linux, Docker, apk package). When I turn on replication it works, but, after a while I see: Jan 06 00:50:31 replicator: Panic: data stack: Out of memory when allocating 268435496 bytes Jan 06 00:50:32 replicator: Fatal: master:

forwarded message is broken in 2.2.10 with pigeonhole-0.4.2
Hi, forwarding a message with sieve like redirect:copy "me at other.domain"; was working without any problem until dovecot-2.1.17, dovecots lmtp and dovecot-2.1-pigeonhole-0.3.5. Using dovecot-2.2.10 , dovecots lmtp and dovecot-2.2-pigeonhole-0.4.2 the structure of a forwarded message is broken. Content of a message is not displayed or an attachment (for instance pdf) can not be

Odd replication behaviour
Hi, I have just built a new pair of similar machines both running CentOS 8.2 (selinux disabled) and Dovecot 2.3.8 (9df20d2db). One machine is a VPS (host A) and one is on my home network (host B). The idea is that they are set up in a master/master config with Dovecot replication. I seem to have this 95% working but there is one strange issue I can?t work out. Currently B is a perfect replica

Replication Issue
Hello, I've been trying to set up replication, Server A is dovecot 2.2.32 (upgrade from 2.0.9) and Server B is dovecot 2.2.10, I use mysql as userdb, I don't want to replicate every user on my database only especific users so I set my iterate_query on dovecot-sql.conf.ext file; my problem: doveadm replication is not "reading" my iterate_query, it tries to replicate every user.

Duplicate mails with pop3 + dsync replication
Hi, When I enable (and it only happens when it is actually running) replication over TCP my users get duplicate mails via pop3. Here?s what happens: * User gets mail * Mail appears in (Maildir) new/ folder on both replicas * user retrieves mail (retr), calls dele. Mail still exists in new/ folder on both replicas. * user runs retr (and gets the duplicate) and dele a second time, the mail is

Sieve replication - Debian 9.11 - Dovecot 2.2.7 - script changes not replicated
Hi, I am trying to setup Sieve replication, it is almost working: 1/ Create a script - sync'd across 2/ Activate/de-activate a script - change sync'd 3/ Delete a script - change sync'd But if I make a change to a script it is not replicated, unless I de-activate and activate again. I am seeing in the logs the below during this process (de-activating/activating): Oct? 9
