Replication on v2.2.6 - I'm stuck (again)
Hi, I'm trying to get Dovecot replication working between two servers. I didn't have much luck on v2.1.3, so after receiving advice from the list I have upgraded to v2.2.6. I now get the error: Oct 30 11:50:16 server1 dovecot: doveadm(mark): Error: user mark: Auth PASS lookup failed Oct 30 11:50:16 server2 dovecot: doveadm(mark): Error: sync: /var/run/dovecot/auth-userdb: passdb lookup

LMTP error
Hi, I've recently switched to LMTP as I'm now using mdbox. However since switching, mails sent to the root account do not get delivered due to the following error: May 1 18:20:17 Server1 postfix/lmtp[13019]: CAEE91F851: to=<root at test.com>, relay=mail.test.com[private/dovecot-lmtp], delay=1097, delays=1096/0.45/0.43/0.46, dsn=4.3.0, status=deferred (host

Quick win... command to remove all attachments from an Inbox
Good evening all, Does anyone know of a doveadm command I can use to remove (delete) all attachments from an mdbox Inbox? I prefer to save my attachments and have a sleek Inbox... but sometimes I forget. A command I can feed into a cron job would be ideal. Many thanks, -Mark

Dovecot replication - I'm stuck
Hi, I've been following the wiki document at http://wiki2.dovecot.org/Replication, but I've become stuck. I'm running version 2.1.3 on NetBSD 5.2 (v2.2+ isn't available as a package yet, and compiling my own is well outside my wheelhouse). I have a couple of questions: The wiki page keeps referring to "vmail". Is this a just system user I need to create? Presumably

Is replication broken?
Hi, Apologies for this being my 248th post about replication... The current error I'm getting is: Jan 30 12:10:54 Server1 dovecot: dsync-local(MailUser1): Error: dsync( Server2.test.com): read() failed: read((fd)) failed: Connection reset by peer Subsequent errors are: Jan 30 12:15:47 Server1 dovecot: dsync-local(MailUser1): Error: read( Server2.test.com) failed: EOF The above error is

example code for file upload
I have an archiving application that handles large file uploads. I already use backgroundrb to run a behind the scenes bulk import of records. All good. Thank you Ezra. Now I would like to add long running file uploads to the things that backgroundrb does for me. That''s right that ole chestnut. I''ve seen a lot of mention of this practice around the web, but have yet

SMB gurus: please help - I am desperate.
I apologize up front for re-posting this, but I need to find a solution to this problem. I have been having hard time to believe that there isn't one person among the SMB gurus that doesn't know how a W2K client connects to an SMB server. So, if you happen to know even the slightest hint to this baffling problem, I would be forever grateful. OK. Here goes (original subject line was:

What am I doing wrong with this? :)
Hi, I''m having trouble with a piece of code based on an example someone kindly posted here: errors.add(''surname'', "must be blank when the serial number is known") if !surname.nil?|| !surname=="" Now, even if surname is empty, it still flags the error message. I imagine I''m doing something rather obviously wrong but I''m not

Eager loading: what am I doing wrong?
I am trying to get eager loading to work. So far it does have an effect on the initial query issued - though not the desired on: it just mentions all the fields explicitly, but creates no joins: [4;36;1mCourse Load Including Associations (0.002771) [0m [0;1mSELECT courses.`id` AS t0_r0, courses.`name` AS t0_r1, courses.`reference` AS t0_r2, courses.`subject_id` AS t0_r3, courses.`course_type_id`

What am I doing wrong with xyplot?
G'day I was playing around with R trying out some of the plotting functions when I came across what may be a bug in xyplot or (more likely) me doing something wrong. try this: x<-1:10 y<-sin(x) #yes I know it's an under sampled function xyplot(y~x) lines(x,y) #at this point the lines do not lay on the xypoints spline(x,y) points(x,y) # in my installation the points(x,y)

testing with if: what I am doing wrong?
I am running this small program: x <- factor(c("A","B","A","C")) y <- c(1,2,3,4) w <-data.frame(x,y) if (w$x=="A"){ w$z=1 } w And I obtain: x y z 1 A 1 1 2 B 2 1 3 A 3 1 4 C 4 1 And not x y z 1 A 1 1 2 B 2 NA 3 A 3 1 4 C 4 NA Like I should obtain. What am I doing wrong? Please notice that I get a warning approximately saying -

--compare-dest not working for me. what am I doing wrong?
Hey. Can anybody spot my mistake? mkdir a b c echo foo > a/test echo foo > b/test rsync -av --compare-dest=b a/ c/ Expected results: no copy of a/test to c/test, since it is already present in b. Actual results: a/test gets copied to c/test What is wrong here? My expectation? my syntax? I'm having the same trouble with --link-dest, and --copy-dest. The behaviour I'm seeing

[LLVMdev] What am I doing wrong here...
I'm getting a 'function arguments must be value types' assertion from the following (abridged) code. Basically, I'm writing a pass that inserts llvm.frameaddress intrinsic calls everywhere 'interesting' that passes on the result by calling the C function void mcp_trace_stack(char *ptr). First I grab the functions themselves: Constant *MCPTraceStack,

What am I doing wrong?
Hi Gang, I've got the latest SVN branch of 1.4 downloaded onto SUSE 11.0. Everything is happy EXCEPT, I can't get fax to be recognized by make menuselect. I tried copying app_rxfax.c and app_txfax.c to the apps directory and starting again from ./configure, but no joy. Any suggestions? FS Quotas, what am I doing wrong?
I'm not able to get the FS quota module to behave as I expect. Depsite having function fs quotas and dovecot apparently configured to use then, the quotas appear to be empty and/or not configured. Any clues? # quota kgc Disk quotas for user kgc (uid 500): Filesystem blocks quota limit grace files quota limit grace /dev/sda3 1229460 7000000 8000000

Re What am I doing wrong with xyplot?
G'day A quick followup is that it doesn't always happen. I managed to reproduce it on a fresh start-up by adding the two lines indicated by arrows try this: x<-1:10 y<-sin(x) #yes I know it's an under sampled function -> plot(x,y) ###These two lines are required to reproduce the -> lines(x,y) ### behaviour xyplot(y~x) lines(x,y) #at this point the

Plots don't update with xlab, etc. What am I doing wrong.
Hi, I've been struggling with this problem the last few days and finally discovered it's happening at a very fundamental level. Going through Stephen Turner's tutorial on ggplot2, I entered these base graphics commands: > with(diamonds, plot(carat, price)) > with(diamonds, plot(carat, price), xlab="Weight in Carats", ylab="Price in USD",
