Not quite sure where the docs are on Dovecot deliver. Went to the wiki and it left me confused. The docs there definitely need some work. Anyone have some examples to share?

Instead of having to use SMTP if an addition were made to the IMAP protocol then IMAP could transport outgoing mail to the server the same way it moves messages to the server. Just wondering if there is an easy way to have dovecot do a blacklist lookup as a negative authentication so that if the IP is on a blacklist then authentification fails even if they get the password right. If this works I have a blacklist everyone can use.
