ClrMamePro: main window doesn't reappear
Hi,
I was trying the latest Wine CVS version with ClrMamePro (www.cmpro.com,
it's a roms-checker software), which some time ago made me crazy to run,
but worked quite well. The problem was that the main interface (the six
buttons) wasn't repainted after the first time that an function is selected
(when one of the buttons is clicked, the main window disappear, and appear

Browser compatibility goes back how far?
I asked this on the Rails list, but it might be more appropriate here.
When we''re estimating how many users would have access to our site if
we choose to use AJAX and script.aculo.us -style javascript, what
kind of percentage are we looking at? 50%? 75%?
Does this kind of fancy JS work on IE 5.0, or earlier?
Thanks!

Messages disappear and reappear when I check mailbox using KMail
Not sure if this is a Dovecot bug or a KMail bug, but since it only seems to
happen to people using KMail to access a Dovecot server or a Novell NetWare
IMAP server, I thought I should mention it here.
<http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=121866>
From the bug report:
When I check for mail on an IMAP account (not disconnected), all
recently-received messages disappear prior to any mail

Deleted files reappear after login
Hi,
problem is, if someone deletes files e.g. from Desktop in XP, logs out
and logs in again, the files reappear.
They are not deleted in the profile on the server.
The profile is syncing so that changes to files and new files are ok.
Only deleting does not work.
am using:
Redhat EL4 U4, Samba 3.0.24-SerNet-RedHat, XP SP2 Clients.

Packages reappear for installation each time update.packages() is run
Hi,
Whenever I run update.packages() certain packages reappear over and over
again as packages to be updated. Specifically, the problems appear with
the packages gregmisc and gap:

I can not get any scriptaculous effects to finish with items visible
I''m sorry I can''t seem to get any of the scriptaculous
effects to work correctly. I''ve searched on the web
forum but found nothing relevant. The only time I get
an HTML element to fade or shrink gracefully is when I
use them as inline handlers and feed them ''this''
instead of the HTML element id. But I can not get
anything to appear. Things disappear but

altering revert effect based on if dropped on given droppable?
Hi All
Does any one know how to specify a different reverteffect on a
draggable if its successfully dropped on a given droppable?
What I need to do is when an image is dragged onto a droppable image I
want the drop image to be replaced with the drag image, the drag image
to fade out and then reappear where it was at the start of the drag, as
opposed to the draggable scrolling across the page

My last post buggered - FWD about patch version2
No idea why my last post buggered, so here's what I meant to send
(attached is his actual patch):
Hi!
I made a little patch I'd like to see integrated (if appropriate)
which makes Compiz usable in desktop+TV-out setups. It adds the
--only-current-screen option to compiz which tell it to only manage
the screen defined by $DISPLAY and leave the others alone.

after quite some digging, the user experience mentioned in brackets above,

Dovecot replication causing deleted emails to reappear
Greetings,
I've set up replication successfully on two Dovecot servers. I had fully synced the servers but then took one offline for 2 weeks. When I restored it, the servers synced but ended up replacing deleted emails in random people's inboxes.
I'm using maildir.
Does anyone have any insights as to correcting this issue?

Creating dropout time from longitudinal data with missing data
Dear R users,
Please assist me with the following problem. I have a dataset that looks like the following:
dat<-data.frame(
'id'=rep(c(1,2,3),each=3),
'time'=rep(c(1,2,3),3),
'y'= c(2,2,NA,2,NA,NA,2,5,7)
)
I wish to create a variable for dropout time in dataframe 'dat' such that the dropout time is the time to drop out by the subject as follows:

how to chage values in data frame to NA iside a function
Dear all
I have a function in which I would like to change some values to NA according to
some condition.
dropout<-function(y, nahr=FALSE,...) {
<some stuff for computing an index>
if (nahr) y[index]<<-NA
invisible(index)
}
in case y is a vector all works OK but if it is a part of data frame by calling
dropout(df$y) or dropout(df[,number]) no change is done.
Please can you

Reappearing emails
We have been running Dovecot 2.2.10 with a pair of CentOS 7 boxes with
replications for the past year. We have been quite happy with the
performance and reliability. Recently we received a report from an
Android IMAP user that emails that he deleted without reading would
often reappear in his INBOX. At first I thought it might be some quirky
incompatibility with his email client, but I

New package 'drm' for repeated categorical data analysis
Dear useRs,
A new package 'drm', version 0.5-4, is available on CRAN.
The drm package provides functions for marginal regression analysis of
repeated (or otherwise clustered) binary, ordinal and nominal responses.
This package can be considered as a likelihood-based alternative to GEE

none with 2915's).

Regarding : ATI video driver problems
I gather from the discussion on the reference thread that I'll be having
quite a time with a MB having an Integrated ATI Radeon HD 3000 graphics
chip set and a video card using a Radeon HD 6570 chip set when I try to
run CentOS 6.4 on it.
I was going to ask if CrossFire works with CentOS, but it appears that
the integrated chip set isn't going to work at all.
Well, ignoring all that,
