SELinux and SETroubleshootd woes in CR
I'm setting up a dedicated database server, and since this will be a
central service to my various web servers I wanted it to be as secure as
possible...so I am leaving SELinux enabled. However I'm having trouble
getting Apache to use mod_auth_pam. I also now can't get setroubleshootd
working to send me notifications of the denials and provide tips to solve
the problem.

Thanks
Could you please clarify, which version libxml is broken and has there been a newer version released that will fix it.

How far back would you suggest we go? would libxml2-2.7.6-14.el6_5.1.x86_64 be sufficient

I'll jump in here to say we'll try your suggestion, but I guess what's not
been mentioned is that we get the setroubleshoot abrt's only a few times a
day, but we're getting 10000s of setroubleshoot messages in
/var/log/messages a day.
e.g.
Dec 2 10:03:55 server audispd: queue is full - dropping event
Dec 2 10:04:00 server audispd: last message repeated 199 times

Indeed, thanks Dan - it doesn't get us to a completely clean running that
would allow us to run our Node app as we are under Passenger with SELinux
enforcing, but it at least has stopped the excessive amount of AVCs we were
getting.

Anyone have any idea as to why setroubleshootd would be dominating the

SELinux resource hog
Spinning off from the other thread about SELinux, I just tried to
re-enable SELinux on my personal server hosting just email and forum
for a small local community.
Average load for this Intel Core 2 Duo box with 2GB of ram (usually
with some 1GB free) was generally below 0.4 for the last 24hrs,
averaging 0.23 based on MRTG.
Once I did setenforce 1, load shot through the roof to fluctuate

FW: Re: Problem with Blackfin assembly optimizations -- bug in fixed_bfin.h / resampler saturation???
Hi Jean-Marc,
didn't get a reply to my last post (see below) -- do you have no idea what happens here?
After some more tests, I disabled the DIV32_16 Blackfin optimizations and now get good quality on the Blackfin. But when I have overdrive on the input, things become very bad -- I'm not sure if this is really a filter stability issue like I wrote some weeks ago.
I use the speex

Ok might not be related. One other suggestion would be to clear the
database out. And see if there
was something in the database that was causing it problems.
Make sure there is no

I am not sure. I was just seeing email on this today. Could you try to
downgrade the latest version of libxml to see if the
problem goes away.

selinux + kvm virtualization + smartd problem
Hello,
I'm using HP homeserver where host system run CentOS 6.3 with KVM
virtualization with SELinux enabled, guests too run the same OS (but
without SELinux, but this does not matter).
Host system installed on mirrors based on sda and sdb physical disks.
sd{c..f} disks attached to KVM guest (whole disks, not partitions;
needed to use zfs (zfsonlinux) benefit features). Problem is that

Re: Problem with Blackfin assembly optimizations -- bug in fixed_bfin.h / resampler saturation???
Hi,
I just started to examine the DIV32_16 function (Blackfin ASM version), and wondered why the return value of the function inside 'fixed_bfin.h' is of type 'spx_word16_t', but the local variable 'res' which is returned by this function is of type 'spx_word32_t'. Is this a trick of optimization or a bug?
(Same question for PDIV32_16 and MAX16, too!)

USB Serial ports (ttyACMn) CentOS 6.7 (64-bit) vs. CentOS 6.7 (64-bit)
I sent this out about a week or so ago, but I have heard nothing. I am
*thinking* it is a SELINUX problem, but I cannot figure out what. The SELINUX
settings for both machines are *exactly* the same (the stock defaults for a
standard CentOS 6 install). The *only* difference is that the desktop
(sauron) has a few VMs setup (under KVM) and the laptop (gollum) does not. The
desktop has an AMD
