ajax effects
Hi,
i was wondering if there was some kind of general line of code i could
add to my application, anywhere i suppose, that would generate some kind
of effect to notify the user that an effect is happening...it could be a
box on the top of the screen or something, that would be like the small
bar at the end of the browser that shows the user the status of a
loading page ... i was hoping

Dear team
I am running a centos guest VM which freezes for every few days . The
qemu-kvm on shows 100% cpu utilization.
Ping to the guest might work or may not work .Please can you tell me
what approach can i take to debug it .
using "virsh dump" I can dump the core of the guest vm but I am not
sure how to analyse it .

QEMU 2.2.0 managedsave: Unknown savevm section type 5
Hello,
I am running into issues restoring VMs during reboot for some of my XP VMs
- the environment is QEMU 2.2.0, libvirt 1.2.12 on CentOS 6.5 with KVM and
libvirt-guests is set to suspend at shutdown. The weird part is Windows 7
is restored properly from the managedsave however XP does not, doing a
start from virsh shows this:
virsh # start xp-check
error: Failed to start domain xp-check

[QEMU-KVM] Centos guest VM freezing
Hi
Thanks for the reply
We have seen the same guest VM freezing on vmware ESXi machine also , so we
were interested in know in the internal condition of the guest vm when the
freeze happened
How can we analyse the core file generated by "virsh dump "
Thanks and regards
Akshar

KVM issue
running centos 6... have had a KVM linux vm (also C6) going for quite
awhile that depends on a USB device mapping (a external audio DAC module).
I updated the host today (yum update), it had been awhile (was like 6.5
before, now its 6.8+), and rebooted. the VM won't restart.
when I try and restart it, I get this
Error restoring domain: internal error Did not find USB device 8bb:2704

I’ll try and keep the lines short. I don’t see any obvious setting to change the wrap.

6.5 live migration speed
hello,
while upgrading a kvm virtualization cluster from c6.4 to c6.5
and i am no longer able to control the migration speed.
in c6.4 the default speed was the maximum bandwidth (1g in my case)
and the actual migration speed was about 100MB/s.
now in c6.5 the actual migration speed dropped down to about
25MB/s - 50MB/s, it varies and sometimes during migration of
huge machines (36GB) i was at

Problems with Windows on KVM machine
Hello. We've started a virtualisation project and got stuck in one moment.
Currently we are using the following:
Intel 2312WPQJR as a node
Intel R2312GL4GS as a storage with Intel Infiniband 2 ports controller
Infiniband Mellanox SwitchX IS5023 for commutation.
The nodes run CentOS 6.5 with built-in Infiniband package (Linux v0002
2.6.32-431.el6.x86_64), the storage - CentOS 6.4 also built-in
