lua not working on syslinux-6.03-pre18
I've upgraded from syslinux-4.05 to syslinux-6.03-pre18 (pre11 was the same) and am having some issues getting lua.c32 to work. I'm using lpxelinux.0 if that's relevant. My boot file and the contents of default.lua are below. As you can see they are fantastically simple. Essentially I'm just using lua to put the results of ipappend in the right place on the command line. The

Frequent Starcraft II crashes.
Recently I've been getting frequent Starcraft II crashes. They started out very rare (every other day or so), then recently have been happening every few minutes. Here's the terminal output I get when I run Starcraft II and it crashes. http://pastebin.ca/2052417 I'm pretty sure the last two lines are the root of my problem, but googling the error didn't help me at all: Code:

Frequent errors copying to an SMB share
Hi, I have a setup that rsyncs (using the rsync protocol without rsh/ssh logins) from one windows server (A) to a NAS (B) via a second windows server (C) (A is on a separate location from B & C, and the NAS doesn't support rsync directly), where C stores data on an SMB share on B. My problem is that I often get "No such host or network path (136)" from rsync (robocopy or

Frequent stating of template files
Puppet-dev folks, I think I have found a bug in 0.24.4''s puppetmasterd. I was tracing puppetmaster and found that it was running stat on my template files at a very significant rate. (in the many many hundreds of times/second ballpark). I realize it makes sense for the puppetmaster to look for changes in the configs and templates, but this seemed way out of whack. Has anyone else seen

[LLVMdev] [Patch][Review Requested][Compilation Time] Avoid frequent copy of elements in LoopStrengthReduce

[LLVMdev] [Patch][Review Requested][Compilation Time] Avoid frequent copy of elements in LoopStrengthReduce
The compilation time is measured for different benchmarks while compiling a .bc file into a shared object. The improvement across the range of benchmarks is listed in following table. If the reason behind the need for other performance metrics is to identify possible measurement errors, then I think this table would be of some help. However, we do not have the standard deviation and confidence

Frequent "Connection reset by peer"
Hi, Is there a way to tell why I'm getting frequent "Connection reset by peer" all of a sudden? I'm using a FreeBSD machine, plugged via eithernet to a Linksys router running DD-WRT, to another Linksys 50 feet away running DD-WRT, both of them WDS'd together, plugged via ethernet to another FreeBSD machine. With debug cranked, I see : debug1: channel 0: free:

Frequent "Out of memory" issues with DX9 games under Gentoo
Since I switched to Gentoo Linux, I have had multiple issues of DX9 games crashing after about 15-20 minutes of playing because of "out of memory" issues. I do not recall having so many problems with that when I was running Wine under Ubuntu. My config: Q6600 4 GB Ram Nvidia 8800GT Gentoo X64 Latest wine-git as of Feb 8 2009 I have reported one of them as a bug:

Latest WoW Cataclysm Beta build = frequent crashing
So Bliz just a pushed a new Beta build and I'm getting alot of crashes now. Anyone else? A few observations: 1. It crashes anytime I log into a character in Orgrimar. It manages to actually complete the loading process, but within a second or two of Org and my character appearing, crash. The only thing that has happened before the crash in these cases is my character's talent

Using frequent keepalives to eliminate need for NAT port forwarding?
I have an asterisk system behind NAT, and need to connect to public PSTN originators via SIP or IAX2, but don't have the option of forwarding any ports (4569, 5060, etc) to the asterisk system. However, the NAT system does properly establish transient UDP forwarding on the basis of outgoing connections, so is it possible to configure asterisk to send frequent keepalive UDP packets (say every
