Using image_tag and send_data
I am using image_tag to load an image that I''ve saved to the database (using attachment_fu if you''re curious but that''s probably not relevant here): VIEW <%= image_tag ''/photo/get_image/5'' %> CONTROLLER def get_image @photo=Photo.find(params[:id]) send_data(DbFile.find(@photo.db_file_id).data, :type =>

[LLVMdev] Injecting code before function prolog
I'm trying to implement something similar to this: http://gcc.gnu.org/wiki/SplitStacks in LLVM. The reason I want this is so that I can have dynamically growing and shrinking stacks in my programming language. In order to do this, I need to be able to check for overflow of a stack frame. The methods of doing this are outlined in the link above, but my intention is to pass the current stack

Injecting actions into controllers
Hi, I''m trying to write a plugin that should inject an action into the controller. Please note, not just an instance method, but also an _action_, one of those that are listable by running ControllerClassName.action_methods. I wrote the following code: def render_field_search(name, object, controller, options = {}) controller.class.class_eval do

[PATCH] customize: Add --ssh-inject option for injecting SSH keys.
This adds a customize option: virt-customize --ssh-inject USER[=KEY] virt-builder --ssh-inject USER[=KEY] virt-sysprep --ssh-inject USER[=KEY] In each case this either injects the current (host) user's ssh pubkey into the guest user USER (adding it to ~USER/.ssh/authorized_keys in the guest), or you can specify a particular key. For example: virt-builder fedora-20 --ssh-inject root

[RFC PATCH v7 09/78] KVM: x86: avoid injecting #PF when emulate the VMCALL instruction
From: Mihai Don?u <mdontu at bitdefender.com> It can happened to end up emulating the VMCALL instruction as a result of the handling of an EPT write fault. In this situation, the emulator will try to unconditionally patch the correct hypercall opcode bytes using emulator_write_emulated(). However, this last call uses the fault GPA (if available) or walks the guest page tables at RIP,

Injecting source reference from external editors (emacs).
Hi everyone, I would like to inject source reference into R objects from external editor. In my case it's emacs with ESS and ess-tracebug (http://code.google.com/p/ess-tracebug/). Currently the user has to source the file before the src references become available. I would like to spare her, and insert the source references "on-line" during normal interaction (i.e. sending

[PATCH 2/5] Xen/MCE: vMCE injection
Xen/MCE: vMCE injection In our test for win8 guest mce, we find a bug that no matter what SRAO/SRAR error xen inject to win8 guest, it always reboot. The root cause is, current Xen vMCE logic inject vMCE# only to vcpu0, this is not correct for Intel MCE (Under Intel arch, h/w generate MCE# to all CPUs). This patch fix vMCE injection bug, injecting vMCE# to all vcpus. Signed-off-by: Liu,

Early injecting Jack between call parties
I use Jack for getting callee sound. Dial with option M(): JACK_HOOK(manipulate,i(rec_737219:input),o(rec_737219:output),c(rec_737219))=on This works fine, but I need to connect the sound channel to Jack *before* the actual answer. As you can see in the AMI log, between "Ringing" to JACK_HOOK there is a 6 second break. I don't want that. I need a way to launch Dialplan function

Injecting a sound file into a bridged call
Hello everyone, I'm looking for a way to play a sound file to an already established bridged call. It is meant for one party, but it's ok if both parties would hear it. Ideally, I'd like to be able to trigger this from the Management Interface with something like: Action: Playback File: tt-weasels Channel: Zap/nn However, I haven't seen anything like that being

Injecting code in a package?
Dear list, I''ve had this a few times now, and wonder if this is possible: I''m using a package, often for plotting something, but I want to tune the way the plotting goes, in a way that was not foreseen by the maker of the package. Now, most of the time, these kinds of R functions (say pkg::plot.something) call into other R functions (say pkg::plot.something.internal), and

[Patch] Add NMI Injection and Pending Support in VMX
Currently, Xen does not support injecting an NMI to HVM guest OS. Adding this feature is necessary for those softwares which depend on NMI to function correctly, such as KDB and oprofile. The attached patch allows NMI to be injected to guest OS in NMIP capable platforms. It also enables to queue an NMI and then inject it as soon as possible. Signed-off-by: Haitao Shan
