Invalid SyntaxReference page in the wiki
Hi,
Something which bothered me a few times in the past, the SyntaxReference
link when you are editing a page points to: centoswiki/SyntaxReference
That page did not exist, luckily it suggested the real location:
SyntaxReference so it was not a real problem. But it may confuse other
people in the future.
So what I did for now was created the non-existing page and redirected it

How to edit the wiki
Hi,
I made a manual related to How to install CentOS Directory Server, and
this is in spanish.
I would like to add this to the wiki, in the following URL:
http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos
In the section 2. Directory Services
But, I don't know how to edit the wiki. I have used before dokuwiki and
mediawiki, but this wiki looks like moin or another. What implementation
is this?
Thanks!

Centos as a network recorder and request
I am looking at using CentOS to use as a network recorder to enhance our
security analysis. During my research I found that the linux kernel (not
CentOS specific) has a bad problem of dropping packets on gigabit
connections. This problem exists even on a dual xeon system with 1gb ram
using a minimal install. Once I found the ethereal performance wiki I
realized the problem was not in the system

Wiki access, please?
Hi all,
Requesting edit permissions for the wiki. I'm going to be involved in planning some of the dojos and possibly working on the cloud instance SIG, and would like to be able to edit the wiki as needed.

Container Pipeline placeholder
Hi,
I've created http://wiki.centos.org/ContainerPipleline as a placeholder
to start populating about the pipeline. Although this will run from
ci.centos.org hosted infra ( http://wiki.centos.org/QaWiki/CI ) - and it
will form a sort of ecocystem test + release process, I think it
deserves scope beyond being just under the CI namespace.

the seven.c.o blog and twitter
hi,
wondering if we should setup a twitter account for seven.centos.org and
have it linked into the blog code to auto tweet on new posts ? There is
a lot of great content on the blog now, and I suspect its not getting a
lot of air time.
Could we do something similar for the centos facebook groups as well ?
Regards

Seeking Speakers for Upcoming Dojos
Hi all,
If you follow the centos-promo mailing list (it exists!)[1] you may have
noticed a lot of discussion lately around putting together a lot of
CentOS Dojos this year.
We're currently planning, and have announced, several Dojos:
* March 31 (Santa Clara, CA):
http://wiki.centos.org/Events/Dojo/SantaClara2014
* April 10 (Denver, CO):

This past Wed., 9/28/05, NewsForge [a website property of the Open Source
Technology Group ((OSTG))], published a review of John Terpstra's new Second
Edition, of "Samba-3 by Example: Practical Exercises to Successful
Deployment". The review, written by Joe 'Zonker' Brockmeier, opens with

A request for help managing wiki permissions
Long story short, the core team doesn't need to be in the business of
micro-managing wiki permissions. We've not been that good at it during
the best of times, and as the 6.6 build process is showing we've clearly
let some stuff slip without following up on it appropriately here.
What I'd propose is that 3-4 people who have been around the
distribution a while (perhaps John
