w.r.t. firstname lastname
I try not to post my real name on the internet. I'm basically asking for commit access for user sub page space for formatting, & staging of documents for management review. When I'm actually @ linbit ill probably start the motions to have an official account something like "linbit-usa" to publish the works under. I'm used to mediawiki, moinmoin wiki is new to me.

posting messages at 3am on a bright white page can give me auras, migraines, & seizures. A pc screen is much brighter than a piece of paper. "http://www.linux-ha.org/wiki/Main_Page looks pretty dead to me. has nothing to do with centos." Yes it does, I am saying I can't evade cents bureaucracy. "you can most definitely be anonymous and use CentOS. That is perfectly

port 139 problems
I'm trying to setup Samba for the first time. I have followed documentation, gotten password files setup, joined a domain, and now I'm trying to start the daemons. I start the nmbd fine, and can see it in Netowrk Neighborhood. However, when I try to start smbd with /usr/local/samba/bin/smbd -D, it fails immediately. The log.smb shows: [DATE] smbd/server.c:main(641) smbd version 2.0.7

How to interpret some diagnostic output
I do not know if I have a problem or not. The R script at the end of this email seems to run properly and a I get a boxplot that looks proper but I get the long string of messages during execution of the script looking like: ... Repeatability and lme
Dear R-help list members I gathered longitudinal data on fish behaviour which I try to analyse using a multi level model for change. Mostly, I am following Singer & Willett (2003), who provide also the S/R code for their examples in the book (e.g. http://www.ats.ucla.edu/stat/Splus/examples/alda/ch4.htm). Of course I am interested in change over time, but I am also very much interested in

comparing GLM coefficients & repeatability
Many thanks for taking the time to read this! I am looking at the repeatability of behaviour between re-sighted individuals across discrete time periods (annual breeding seasons). My approach was to run a GLM (with a logit link - the data are proportional, presence v. absence of behaviour) for each breeding season. I included the re-sighted individuals as a factor (categorical variable) (i.e.

New Introduction
Hi all, I''ve just rewritten the Puppet introduction from scratch: https://reductivelabs.com/trac/puppet/wiki/PuppetIntroduction I think it''s better, but I''m not convinced it''s a whole heckuva lot better. Comments are very much appreciated, especially if you can recommend a better approach to the document. I tried to organize it how I have been giving

RSync on Netware
Hello, I have ported rsync 2.5.5 to Netware and would like to, at least, contribute the binary so that people can download it. It says on the website to use the bug tracking system to do this, but since that isn't working, I thought I would try this. Thanks for any help or direction. Lee

Directory app not working with realtime
All; I'm currently running Asterisk 1.8.15-cert7 and am using realtime to store my voicemail configuration. The voicemail application works fine, but the problem I have is that the 'Directory' app cannot find any entries because there are no entries in the voicemail.conf file. When I add a context and an extension entry in voicemail.conf, it works the way it should. Is there
