Hi everyone, I've posted some updated source and binary rpms following the release of updates by the samba project. Updated rpms include samba-4.10.6 and ldb-1.5.5. Hi everyone, In case anyone's interested, I've posted the rpm builds of samba 4.10.8 that I'm using on RHEL7.7. (I run these in VMs, serving as AD DCs for my SOHO). These rpms use the default python2 from the system. The 4.10.x SPEC file is now more closely aligned with upstream (Fedora SPEC file) and I've yet to test these builds using the system's python3 on RHEL7.

The 4.11 rpms use the python3 and python3-devel rpms introduced in the standard RHEL/Centos repos at the same time as the 7.7 version. The samba 4.11.1 SPEC file is closely based on the Fedora Samba 4.11.1 SPEC file with some additions for using Samba as an AD/DC. These rpms use the python3 and python3-devel rpms introduced in the standard RHEL/Centos repos at the same time as the 7.7 version.

Has anyone managed to get the x2go server working on CentOS 6.7? I started testing x2go from EPEL under 6.6, and it worked well. Then I didn't use it in 6 months plus, eventually upgraded the machine to 6.7, and it's no longer working. Both Windows and Linux clients error out with "Connection failed. 0: Event not found." A Linux client run with the debug option reports:

I've mostly been using MATE from epel when I use GUI access on CentOS7 because it works with x2go, but just noticed on a system with Gnome3 that I can't drag items out of the menus to the desktop or top bar for easier access. Has anyone experienced the conversion of the aluminum chassis Mac G5 to a Linux box? Curious in Pennsylvania. I need to obtain the power cable somewhere to try it.
