Incluir símbolo matemático en data frame
Muchas gracias Jesús,
Por lo que veo hay que hacer una columna diferente para los símbolos, tal
como sugiere Carlos. No hay forma de ubicarlos en el mismo string,
acompañando al número?

Is there an implementation for "URL Encoding" (/format) in R?
Hello all,
I would like some R function that can translate a string to a "URL encoding"
(see here: http://www.w3schools.com/tags/ref_urlencode.asp)
Is it implemented? (I wasn't able to find any reference to it)
Thanks,
Tal

[MacOSX] Firefox Not Diplaying Images
Forgive the random question, but for those of you Mac OS X users...
Does anyone else have a problem with Firefox 1.5 not displaying
pictures/graphics embedded on web pages. Safari doesn''t seem to have a
problem with them.
For example, my blog appears correctly in Safari, however Firefox
drops background images.
Clues? Thanks.

Centos 5.10, Firefox ESR 24.3.0, Rendering Failure
Further to my very recent concerns that
<ol type="a">
gives digits. type="a" was "depreciated" in HTML 4.1. "depreciated"
means to me to be of a lesser value or to be prepared it may be
abandoned. It does not, in my version of English English, mean removed
from the HTML specification. Therefore it should function 'normally' in

Open Browser Window help
When I previously designed my static sites in dreamweaver, I used an
Open Browser Window behavior which opened a URL in a new window of
fixed size by inserting the following:
<a href="javascript:;"
onclick="MM_openBrWindow(''example.html'', ...
''width=300,height=300'')</a>
Is there a simple way to do the same thing in ruby?

I''m a relative noob to rails so I apologize in advance for asking such a
basic question.
I am trying to do multiple AJAX calls using the link_to_remote helper or the
JavaScript generator update_page. I have googled and read the docs for
both, but can''t seem to figure out exactly what i need to do.
Say I have the following html:

Icecast start up script for icecast
Ok well you state yourself that you are getting an XML error when you try to
start icecast... Have you attempted to validate your XML?
>>*Fatal: error parsing config file [icecast/usr/local/etc/icecast.xml]*

*What command are you running to start it? i would assume it's "icecast -c
/icecast/usr/local/etc/icecast.xml" which would mean to me that somehow you
have a top level

Icecast start up script for icecast
my guess would be that the sphynx user does not have permission to write to
the folder /var/log/icecast
try running the following command:
chown sphynx.sphynx /var/log/icecast
then as root you can execute:
icecast -c /usr/local/etc/icecast.xml
The reason you can run the icecast command as root is because when you set
<chroot>1</chroot> in the <security> section (which you
