I'd like to monitor all of these services in a graphical, easy, setting

I would also like that if a customer wanted to see the graphs I could
create codes read-only.

Packages installation in CentOs
Hi,
I have a customized CentOS 5.5 kernel. I want it to upgrade it to CentOS 7.
The approach I have decided was to take the CentOS 7 and then install the
customized packages that are there in the CentOS 5.5.
While trying to install the customized packages, I could install most of
the packages, but I couldn't install the below in the latest CentOS 7.
1. rhpl
2. mod_perl
3.

oh, that step means you won't be able to recover ANY of the data that

TPM and secure boot
has anyone implemented any sort of 'secure boot' using TPM 1.2 modules
on the server boards using CentOS 6.x ? I'm not finding much concrete
stuff on how to setup and manage a system like this, but I've been asked
to research it for a security application internally at my job.
our primary application for the TPM is for client authentication
certificates in an SSL application

died again
CentOS 6.4 died on me again.
Didn't leave any traces that I could find.
The screen just suddenly went black.
Couldn't switch to another virtual terminal.
Pushing the reset button worked.
Didn't have to power off this time.

Centos7 Net install on HP A1710N fails
Folks
Just for laughs, I took an older 64-bit machine, HP Pavillion A1710N,
and tried a net-install of Centos7. The installer complained that
there was no network devices available.
I then tried a Centos6 Netinstall disk, and it found the controller
and worked fine.
What should I do? I'd love to get C7 installed on it.

Hey folks,
How would I allow a user to connect to an FTP server, upload and download
files and delete files as well, if that server is in enforcing mode for
SELinux?
I'm using proftpd 1.3.5 on CentOS 7.
Thank you!

NTLM Authentication ISA Server
Hello list,
how can I get CentOS 7 to authenticate against a Microsoft ISA server for package installations after the OS is installed.
In Debian/Ubuntu apt.conf just needs to be edited and it works. How to do so in CentOS?

NFS hard mount
Is there a tunable to set NFS hard mount time out? For instance, if the
server becomes unavailable for extended amount of time, say 1 hour. I would
like to timeout after 30 secs.
(Soft mount isn't an option, BTW)

Zone file not written to slave DNS server
I have mostly succeeded in getting master and slave DNS servers operational. Mostly, because the zone file is not written when a zone is updated on the master server when the notify and transfer process happens.
The slave DNS server gets the changes to the modified zone, but the slave zone file remains as before. I've found a few tutorials and lots of discussions, many of which talk about

centos 6.3

I want to put my stuff on centos 6.3 but some colleagues warned that
it is not wise to use it at now for some bugs reported. Can you please
confirm if this is true and which vulnerability can be risked for ?
Thank you
