Hi All,
Thanks for every one who helped me on this regard. I think i was able to
rictify the problem.
what i did is remove
callprogress=yes
usecallinpres=yes
and restart asterisk. Today i didn't report any drop calls.
Many thanks for Eric. :)
I hope this situation will continue.

Vidura.

Hello,
I''m using htb3 with kernel 2.6.13 on debian testing release. I have a
hierarchy consisting of 10 parents clas each with 2 to 20 childs and every
child use sfq. The problem is when the default class become congested, the
system start to drop packets for 2 seconds all traffic is blocked, another 3
to 5 minutes all goes all and so on.
Anyone have any ideea about this ?

[Zaptel] "numberplan-local" context from nowhere?
Hello
Using Asterisk 1.4.20 and Zaptel 1.4.3-1, I notice that Asterisk sends
FXO calls to a context named "numberplan-local" that is not mentionned
in my configuration file, which prevents incoming calls to be
successfull:
======= /etc/asterisk/zapata.conf ==================
[trunkgroups]
[channels]
;Send incoming calls to this context in extensions.conf
context=from_fxo

That would be interesting, since I tried both the actual IP address
and the DNS name for the test node. Neither message got through.

can you:
$ telnet yourhost.com 25
(obviously replacing yourhost.com with whatever your domain/ip actually is)
from the machine you are sending the mail from? If not make sure the
service is running and make sure there isn't a firewall rule preventing
this.

NetBIOS via ssh tunnel: still getting nowhere
Hi,
I'm still trying to open a Samba share from Windows XP, via an ssh tunnel. From
Linux, and RiscOS no problem, but Windows no.
Surely someone here has needed to do this at some time or other.
Please help.
Cheers,
Paul.

Fwd: Back to back E1 - asterisk <=> toshiba pbx -Call droping
Before studying your configs, what have you tried so far?
Did you change this?
Also, try changing your second span timing from span=2,2,0,ccs,hdb3,crc4
to span=2,0,0,ccs,hdb3,crc4.
Here is the documentation on voip-info for why it may be the cause of
your issues

ISDN Call Droping only for outgoing
I have been trying to sort this out for a while now but with no luck
I have isdn <-> asterisk<-> pabx on a te205
incoming calls work fine
outgoing calls seem to work fine but the call is dropped when answered
I think it is to do with the line
[May 8 17:51:55] WARNING[4762] channel.c: Unexpected control subclass '5'
that is causing the problem but I don't know how to

Mail to nowhere
The next phase of my testing procedure involves the simple act of
delivering mail to my test box. When I send a message to either a
valid or relayed user at my remote machine's address, it never gets
there. I know this virtually for sure because I'm tailing
/var/log/maillog and nothing new has been added for the past hour. I'm
thinking eventually my ISP will send the message back to me
