Blind effect and tables
Greetings, I am trying to add a row to a table using the blind down effect. I have this working for lists (aka <li>) but not tables. With tables it seems to display the newly inserted row then blind. I basically want to start with the row hidden and then blind down. For example this works with lists: <ol style="" id="list1"> <li

Need help with effect
I need a way to do a blind up that makes the element APPEAR and a blind down that makes the element DISAPPEAR. In essence, the opposite of the current blindup/blinddown. Effect.BlindDown height clipping bug
There seems to be a bug with the queueing of the BlindDown effect. I have built a test page that highlights the problem here. http://dev.lunny.com/test/blindclipping.php When using queueing with a BlindUP/BlindDown combination, the BlindDown gets its height of the final state from the current height of the element when the effect is called. This causes the finish height of the blind down

Effect.ScrollTo IE issue
Hi All, I am working on a page that has 4 configuration sections at the bottom of the page with 4 links to them higher up on the page. We are using the Effects.BlindDown to show the lower section when the corresponding link is clicked. We also use the "new Effects.ScrollTo(''DIVTag'')" to have the page scroll to the newly opened section. Now this works fine in

Blind Toggle "effect"
I wrote a simple toggle function similar to Element.toggle that will toggle a section between being up and down using the Blind effect. I''m relatively new to the code, so I''m not sure if it''s implemented 100% correctly or if it can be done better. I am using it though and it seems to be working fine. Anyway, here''s the code and if you think it''s

New scrolling question (BlindDown)
I have several BlindDown elements, that when clicked, depending on their position, may blind down past the bottom of the page. I would like the page to auto-scroll with the Blind-down effect so that these elements always stay on-screen. Does anyone know how to do such a thing? Can I pass options to these effects to control the speed?
Hi There, I am playing around with Effect.Grow and Effect.BlindDown. I was wondering if there is a way to control the speed at which these effects execute. Also, for Grow it seems to exapnd from the middle. I am trying to achieve something more like a flyout from the left. Any ideas on how I can do this? Thanks -- Bruce Christie _______________________________________________

enumerables problem?
I was wondering whether anybody could please tell me why this is causing an error in IE (works in Firefox): $A(container.getElementsByTagName(''*'')).each( function(el) { Element.cleanWhitespace(el); }.bind(this)); What would be an alternative of achieving the same? Help with effect queue.
I have an interesting challenge for you. I am using both Scriptaculous and Prototype on a web site (not using Ruby) and I am trying to queue effects and updates. Here is the situation - I have a page with editable blocks, when the user clicks on the edit button under the box, I want it to: 1) Use Ajax to go out and get the code to build the editor form. 2) When it has the form, use Effect.BlindUp

However when I use the effects (Appear, BlindDown, BlindUp) on div's that are positioned low in a long page IE and Firefox always scroll back to the top of the page, sometimes even scrolling away from the effected
