What should be the filesystem permissions for the profile share? Something like 0700 user:group for the directory? I'm getting permission denied errors from winxp pro sp2 and samba 3.0.8pre2. Does it have something to do with "profile acls"?

I believe this is the issue that's causing me to have problems migrating this PDC to a new machine. I have spent days now trying to debug why I can not add machines to the domain. I am using samba 3.0.23c with an openldap backend. I can authenticate fine using smbclient with the administrator account but when I go to add a machine it fails.
