[Prototype] onSuccess Event and Ajax.Updater bug in IE
Hi all,
Is there a known bug with Ajax.Updater not working in
IE6? I''m having
trouble with a Autocompleter control that calls a
function that contains
an Ajax.Updater as an AfterUpdateElement callback. It
works fine in
firefox, but I don''t think Ajax.Updater gets called
under IE.

Ajax.Request synchronization (onSuccess before onComplete?)
2 questions regarding the synchronization of these events.
1) is onSuccess called before onComplete ( I assume it is)
2) if called after, is onComplete called after the onSuccess
method has completed or are you at the mercy of synchronization issues?
Hopefully someone can enlighten me. I tried reading the Prototype.js but
couldn''t seem to determine this on my own.

onSuccess and onComplete Prototype callbacks
Hi everyone,
The onSuccess callback gets fired when HTTP status code is 200, and
onComplete gets fired AFTER onSuccess/onFailure when the browser has
finished handling the request, i.e. when the DOM is ready, right?
So my question is where to put code that MUST ONLY be executed if HTTP
status code is 200 AND Ajax.Request was called with option ''evalScripts:
true''. The code in

Prototype Ajax.Request (onLoading and onSuccess) question
Hi,
I am working on a page that updates a calendar via Ajax.Request when the
previous (''? <http://luther.edu/new/?cur_month=2005-09>'') or next (''?
<http://luther.edu/new/?cur_month=2005-11>'') month links are clicked .

It seems to work fine if I don''t call anything onLoading.

Ajax.InPlaceEditor onSuccess: ???
I''m looking for onSuccess: in Ajax.InPlaceEditor, but it doesn''t
appear to exist. onComplete isn''t what I need because I only want my
callback on success. Is there a way to do this?
Thanks,

Help with glmer {lme4) function: how to return F or t statistics instead of z statistics.
Hi,
I'm new to R and GLMMs, and I've been unable to find the answers to my
questions by trawling through the R help archives. I'm hoping someone
here can help me.
I'm running an analysis on Seedling survival (count data=Poisson

sem package subscript out of bounds error
I'm having the most curious error while using the sem package. For
the model I'm working with, I keep getting the following error:
Error in J[cbind(1:n, observed)] <- 1 : subscript out of bounds
I''ve used debug=TRUE with sem, and there don't appear to be any
problems with model - there are no latent variables in this model.

TreeCtrl item_data
The attached fixes set_item_data, get_item_data and some other methods
for the TreeCtrl so they work nicely with Ruby objects and GC.
In C++ Wx TreeCtrl item_data works differently from client_data in
classes derived from ControlWithItems (eg Choice, ListCtrl). A
one-to-one mapping of the way TreeCtrl works would mean that you would
have to derive a class from TreeItemData, and instantiate

listctrl set_item_data
Hi,
I have used set_item_data with ruby objects (an array) and got a crash.
The reason is simple, the objects were deallocated by the GC.
The easy solution would be to accept only long parameters (like the
original interface).
The hard is to play by the GC''s rules and increase the reference count
and decrease on deletion.

Reporting source errors from MCCodeEmitter::encodeInstruction() ?
[apologies for this duplicate post: originally sent to lldb-dev by not
paying attention to the address auto-completion]
We have a backend for a target that at present only detects some
assembler errors when emitting instructions (basically because the
platform has configurable properties with dependencies between
instructions and it was easier to check for their interaction late

TreeCtrl#get_item_data
Hi
I saw from the ChangeLog that [get|set]_client_data was removed from
ComboBox for 0.4.0 because the methods weren''t working properly.
TreeCtrl#get_item_data still seems to be there. I was wondering if
someone who understood the issue could say if TreeItemData might also be
afflicted with the same problems?
I seem to be segfaulting quite a bit (actually, on TreeEvt#get_item),
but it

Problem passing event object
Hi all,
I''m having a problem with an Ajax.Request. I can''t figure out how I
can pass an event (an onclick on a checkbox) which causes the Ajax
Request, to be recognized in an onSuccess function. Here''s my
simplified code:
var RequiredField = Class.create();
RequiredField.prototype = {
initialize: function(chkbox) {
this.chkbox = chkbox;
this.chkbox.onclick =

populate select box by ajax query with Prototype and IE7
Trying to populate a select box with a value passed in from another
select box works great in Firefox, but using IE nothing happens, no
data is getting returned back. I commented everything out and put
alerts in there and the alerts work in IE but when ajax is getting
used it seems to just die...Is this a bug or what am I doing wrong?
