RE: sorting <a href..> with D&D follows the link(browser thinks I click)
Maybe don''t make anchor tags draggable? Or you could do something like change the href to point to ''#'' and move the actual href into your javascript, and only call it if they click without dragging. Still, I think making a clickable item draggable is begging for problems. > -----Original Message----- > From:

D&D Adventure Tools/Character Generator
Hey all, I'm trying to run the D&D Adventure Tools and the D&D Character Generator. Both use the same base program, so I'm getting the same thing whenever I try to run either of them which is the following: Code: Unhandled Exception: System.IndexOutOfRangeException: Array index is out of range. at UpdaterStub.Program.Main (System.String[] args) [0x00000] in <filename

Interesting, my only comment is if we pick this we need to just spell it Naga. Naga are also snake people in D&D (yea... I know). > > Here's a brief link explaining the

cannot combine in_place_editor_field and a sortable list
As the title says, _sortable list_ doesn''t like ''in_place_editor'' very much. Problem: when you click on an editable element, the field editor and the 2 buttons appears - good - , BUT they keep following the mouse - bad -, and moving, while you''re in edit mode. Alain

Just finished our first proper rails app and I''m trying to add some AJAX effects for the first time. I''ve got Rails Recipes and the Rails Cookbook, none of their examples seem to be a good fit with what I''m trying to achieve. Which is... I have 2 lists of users. One for assigned users, one for unassigned users. I want to be able to drag users between the lists to

Sortable list: how to create a triggering "handle"/deactivate part of the <li> element?
Hi all, When using sortable lists, a click anywhere in a <li> element will trigger the "sort_by_dragging" mode, and have the clicked element follow the mouse. The active area is the entire <li> element. Is there a way to either : - limit the active/triggering "area" to a part of the <li> element (like a luggage handle) or - prevent a part of the

Draggable performance issues
Using the script.aculo.us Draggables, I''m noticing they are a bit less than fast. I drag them around on the screen and they jump and glitch to catch up with the mouse. Has anyone else noticed this, and are there any optimizations that have been identified that I can apply? I''m using v. 1.5 Sincerely, Ryan Gahl Design Engineer Camtronics Medical Systems (an Emageon

[LLVMdev] Compiler name: Nāga
Hi, the idea of a dragon theme reminded me of the dragon-like serpents called "Nāga" from Cambodian mythology, among other places. Here's a brief link explaining the specific Cambodian meaning - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naga_(mythology)#N.C4.81gas_in_Cambodia I like this as a name, because it's unique short and easy to type and remember (as long as you omit the accent,

Feature Request: Drag and Drop support in scale plugin
I've asked for this many times, but this is the first time asking for it on the mailing list. I have totally removed my window list applet from my gnome-panel. It's gone, but not yet forgotten. Despite such great effort to replace it, the thing I miss the most from it is the fact that d&d was easy. I pick up my file or my text or whatever, I hover over an item in my window list applet,

PDF Shipping Order from Rails...BOUNTY
Hello Rails Community, I put this request out to the community a few weeks ago and got one reply and he ended up being too busy to do it. So, let me try again. I was able to get proEngineer to install from the cd rom using a technique found on a post someone had regarding Diablo.
