Hi, On a DELL r610 (Intel Xeon L5520) and a Windows guest I have an hardware error. The bug is well known[1][2] and seems fixed with the package 3.5.0-16-generic. But I use 3.5.0-30-generic. The linux.c32 module doesn't boot my kernel, while pxelinux itself does: kernel vmlinuz-2.6.23 append initrd=initrd.img-2.6.23 root=/dev/mapper/root works, while kernel linux.c32 append vmlinuz-2.6.23 initrd=initrd.img-2.6.23 root=/dev/mapper/root does not: it stays sitting after loading the initrd without any output. Version 3.50-pre2 worked, current git does not work.

I have written a directdraw program in dx7 that i can get working under wine. I have now written a simple directx8 3d program that works under windows but i am getting these wierd errors under wine. this is the output from wine -debugmsg +module pro666 I think it is a problem with the two libraries d3d8.lib and d3dx8.lib as I can see errors there.
