DRBD+GFS - Logical Volume problem
Hi list.
I am dealing with DRBD (+GFS as its DLM). GFS configuration needs a
CLVMD configuration. So, after syncronized my (two) /dev/drbd0 block
devices, I start the clvmd service and try to create a clustered
logical volume. I get this:
On "alice":
[root at alice ~]# pvcreate /dev/drbd0
Physical volume "/dev/drbd0" successfully created
[root at alice ~]# vgcreate

Very slow performance on Sharded GlusterFS
Hi Krutika,
I also did one more test. I re-created another volume (single volume. Old one destroyed-deleted) then do 2 dd tests. One for 1GB other for 2GB. Both are 32MB shard and eager-lock off.
Samples:
sr:~# gluster volume profile testvol start
Starting volume profile on testvol has been successful
sr:~# dd if=/dev/zero of=/testvol/dtestfil0xb bs=1G count=1

Very slow performance on Sharded GlusterFS
Hi,
Sorry for the late response.
No, so eager-lock experiment was more to see if the implementation had any
new bugs.
It doesn't look like it does. I think having it on would be the right thing
to do. It will reduce the number of fops having to go over the network.
Coming to the performance drop, I compared the volume profile output for
stripe and 32MB shard again.
The only thing that is

Problem with SIP-Phones and * audio-files
Hi All,
I am a newbie to asterisk, and here is my first problem, where I do not
know any further.
I have to grandstream BT100 connected to asterisk. Working fine, for
calling to each other, and to call via a IAX-Link to the outside.
If I try to call the initial demo from the samples.extensions.conf I
have nothing to hear.
The CLI fine reports:

Proxying of non "plain" SASL mechnisms.
Hi,
I understand from earlier discussions that the reason dovecot doesn't
support proxying of other SASL mechanisms than those which supply the
plaintext password is that in general it would be possible to proxy any
SASL mechanism since it might protect against man-in-the-middle attacks
(which would prevent proxying).
However, that has led to choice between letting users use PLAIN (or

Rebalance + VM corruption - current status and request for feedback
Hi Mahdi,
Did you get a chance to verify this fix again?
If this fix works for you, is it OK if we move this bug to CLOSED state and
revert the rebalance-cli warning patch?

callerid= being ignored
Hi
I have defined my SIP phones like this ...
[Sip1]
username=gs1
callerid= "Full name" <1001>
etc etc
Now, when I do this in a given extension
exten => nnnn,1,NoOp(${CALLERIDNUM})
then I get "<gs1>" as callerid and not "<1001>" as defined with callerid=
Sure, I could set the usernames to their respective extensions, but I
don't want

I want to create an object to use for the plot command
I'm using the TSA package (along with all prerequisites) to do some GARCH
work and for some reason, something which used to work for me has decided to
up and stop. The code is as follows, after loading the package:
"
gs <- garch.sim(alpha=c(1.9,0.1), beta=c(0.700001, -0.0800003, -0.016),rnd =
rnorm, n = 400, ntrans=500)

Rebalance failures
I am messing around with gluster management and I've added a couple bricks
and did a rebalance, first fix-layout and then migrate data. When I do
this I seem to get a lot of failures:
gluster> volume rebalance MAIL status
Node Rebalanced-files size
scanned failures status
