Eth1 problem on CentOS-6.3
I am trying to transport a dd image between to hosts over a cross
linked gigabit connection. Both hosts have an eth1 configured to a
non routable ip addr on a shared network. No other devices exist on
this link.
When transferring via sftp I received a stall warning. Checking the
logs I see this:
dmesg | grep eth

Compiling mod_webauth on CentOS 5 - krb dependency failure
Hello all,
When I try to compile the mod_webauth module on CentOS 5, the dependencies
for Kerberos fail. I have the Kerberos libs installed, which is what I
assume it's complaining about. Ideas? Is there an RPM missing? Here's
some of what I found:

Cannot remove lvs associated with deleted vm guests
At the beginning of January I encountered a problem where
several vm guests on a single host somehow managed to see
the the virtual disks assigned to other guests on the same
hosts. I was unable to resolve this situation and
shutdown the affected guests after creating new guest
instances and moving the services and data off the
corrupted guests.
I have since removed these guests via virt-manager

Strange alterations to vim and related packages on KVM host
OS CentOS-6.2 with updates to present.
I use git on this host to manage configuration changes and to monitor
package alterations. This is not meant to be a security check. It is
simply a way for me to easily recover from fumble fingered
configuration changes.
Yesterday git status reported that the following files had changed
since the previous commit:

Odd SELinux messages during+after 5.3 upgrade (system_mail_t and postfix_postdrop_t access rpm_var_lib_t)
Hey guys,
I've been getting some strange selinux messages after the 5.3 upgrade.
It appears as though my mail system (postfix) is constantly trying to
access the rpm database? Here's the audit messages (I tend to look at
my selinux messages using audit2allow < /var/log/audit.log as I find
it easier to read quickly):
allow postfix_postdrop_t rpm_t:tcp_socket { read write };

Survey: what's the best HTTPd/TFTPd/FTPd to serve up configuration files to sets
I would like to start a discussion centred around the various ways one
might serve up configuration files from an Asterisk server (I know, it's
better to use a secondary server for all this, but let's talk about a
smaller system).
The types of things being served would include:
- Logo image for sets that support that
- XML directory files
- XML or raw text configuration files

Match packet mark with --set-mark to ip rule fwmark
Hi,
Here I am trying something simple.
My objective is to make ip rule fwmark command work :)

Precedence of iptables chain, local routing table and newly created routing table
Hi,
I been trying on ip rule fwmark and iptables MARK.
I will show my testing in detail, but my ultimate question is why ONLY marking in Mangle OUTPUT tables works, but not others?

NAT with ip rule and ip route
Hi,
I am trying to achieve Stateless NAT with ip rule and ip route. Thanks to LARTC doc, I have done it :)
But, I have a lot of client wanted access to Internet, setting up 2 rules for each of them is not desirable.
For example I have 2 clients:
Current setting:
[root@son-ag webauth]# ip ru
0: from all lookup local
32760: from 192.168.8.113 lookup main map-to 192.168.250.113

[rspec-rails-2] conflict with view isolation and respond_with
Hey all,
For those of you interested in view isolation in controller specs, an issue has been reported with ActionController''s new respond_with method. Please take a look at http://github.com/rspec/rspec-rails/issues/103 and add comments if you have any thoughts on the matter.
Thanks,

Depending on the file sizes, you might want to consider changing the
heal algortithm. Might be better to just re-download the whole file /
shard than to try and heal it, assuming you don't have big files. That
would free up the

Echo/fault isolation test gear
This is off-topic for Asterisk, but since echo problems with the
X100P cards seems to be a common issue and one which people blame on
telco loops, I'd suggest getting the following gear: a 3M Dynatel
subscriber loop test unit.
The 745 is the one I have experience with, and if you have a fairly
decent clue of what you're doing, you can test line silence,
resistance, voltages,
