Hey Y'all, I've been trying for months to get samba to share my printer with my wife's Win XP machine. I've RTFM, and spent hours on google to no avail. I can't see the printer from Windows so I can't mount it up. Nothing appears in the logs. The file shares work just fine. Hey all, I'm looking for a application that I can use to capture video from a USB web camera. I have Cheese Webcam Booth 2.28.1 installed but it leaves a lot to be desired in the video capture field. Last month we discussed the problems with webcams in CentOS 6 and I raised Bugzilla #1158988 with Red Hat. This bug has now been declared a duplicate of 1145805. Unfortunately I'm unable to access that report so although I know Red Hat are looking into the matter I don't know what they're doing. Ron

Hey All, I'm considering moving from CentOS 6 to CentOS 7. I'm not interested in dealing with Gnome 3. I've heard good things about Mate, a fork of Gnome 2. it appears that Mate is available in the EPEL repository associated with CentOS 7. Have any of you tried Mate on CentOS 7?
