DIBEngine: GetDIBits and BitBlt
I am trying to run a Windows app on Mac using Wineskin. The app uses the functions GetDIBits and BitBlt for the purpose of capturing a snapshot of the screen. The problem is that these functions seem to behave a little different with Wineskin than in Windows. For example: HBITMAP hbm; hbm = (HBITMAP) GetCurrentObject(bitmapDC, OBJ_BITMAP); GetDIBits(bitmapDC, hbm, 0, 0, NULL, (LPBITMAPINFO)

[LLVMdev] Parsing C++ headers with Clang bindings for Python
I'd like to parse a C++ header file (say, math.h) with the Clang bindings for Python. (Yes, I know math.h is technically a C header, but for my purposes I want to pretend that it is C++.) For some reason, Clang is able to parse the file as C, but not as C++. Here is an example session: >>> import clang.cindex >>> idx = clang.cindex.Index.create() >>> tu =

r-cran-* packages with recent R alpha release
Hi, After the recent r-base and r-base-core alpha releases in sid, some packages fail to load, e.g. r-cran-bitops: R> library(bitops) Error in library(bitops) : package ?bitops? does not have a NAMESPACE and should be re-installed I suppose these errors will get fixed after 2.14.0 is released. In the meantime, should we just downgrade r-base and r-base-core to the testing versions?

Namespaces of imported packages
Hi, I am trying to build an R package. My existing code makes use of the bitops and chron packages. So I have included statements to import required functionality into the NAMESPACE file using import(). When I run Rcmd build, and error is generated "Error: package 'bitops' does not have a name space" I exclude the import(bitops) statement from the NAMESPACE file and rebuild

[LLVMdev] [PATCH] x86/asm: avoid mnemonics without type suffix
1c54d77 (x86: partial unification of asm-x86/bitops.h, 2008-01-30) changed a bunch of btrl/btsl instructions to btr/bts, with the following justification: The inline assembly for the bit operations has been changed to remove explicit sizing hints on the instructions, so the assembler will pick the appropriate instruction forms depending on the architecture and the context. Unfortunately,

[PATCH] com32: Do not use centralized bitops header in vsscanf
From: Matt Fleming <matt.fleming at linux.intel.com> Partially revert "com32: add a centralized bitops header" This reverts part of commit db74cf6c4182f40ecf7fad1f04799d09d82f896d. The usage of the centralized bitops in com32/lib/vsscanf.c is not correct because the bitmap that we're accessing is too large for the 'bt', 'bts' and 'btc' instructions to

Reservation protocol?
Is there any particular protocol we should use to avoid stomping on each others toes when working on particular patches? It is quite easy to generate double nasty conflicts when working with patches of patches. I'm currently working through the patch set starting at the top (my patch tool was unhappy with 002-sync-bitops), working down my todo list. bobo@linux:~/paravirt> hg status M

Saab Electronic Parts Catalogue (EPC)
Hello everyone, I am trying to get Saab's Electronic Parts Catalogue (EPC) to work with Wine. This is the only program I need running on Windows and stops me from fully enjoying the Linux. I'm running FC 9 with Wine v1.0. The installation of the program was very smoothly with no issues at all. However it fails to start - hangs when the main screen is supposed to show. I am getting
