GTX 760 passed through
Hello, I''ve successfully passed a unmodified GTX 760 to Win7 x64. It involved some driver patching on the client side but I''m close to getting the required steps on the server side, too. Are there any legal issues that might arise from releasing a patch? Bob [image: Inline image 1] _______________________________________________ Xen-devel mailing list Xen-devel@lists.xen.org

nouveaufb handover not working properly from VGA on GTX460 (NVc0)
Howdy, y'all I just got a GTX460 and I'm having a bit of trouble getting it running. In particular, when I modprobe "nouveau," the display goes black (but doesn't enter power saving, so there's a signal of some sort). After doing some searching, I found http://nouveau.freedesktop.org/wiki/KernelModeSetting If I unbind the nouveaufb driver, the console starts

Xen and nvidia
Hi all, I''ve got a couple of questions regarding the current status of nvidia with Xen, since it is well known that nvidia doesn''t work as smooth at the moment with Xen (comparing to ati). My current goal is to use one nvidia gtx460 card and the onboard intel hd4000 on dom0, and then do passthrough for another nvidia gtx460 to a Windows domU. I know there are patches

Patches for VGA-Passthrough XEN 4.2 unstable
Hello, I have been working on VGA-passthrough in the last month. When Xen was at his version 3.5 there was a few patches to make this work for some graphic cards using the patches developed by Han Weidong and posted here (http://lists.xensource.com/archives/html/xen-devel/2009-08/msg01176.html) and the same patches posted file by file are here

[PATCH 0/2] drm/nouveau: add support for 2560x1440@56 over HDMI
These patches are adding support for outputting 2560x1440 at 56 over HDMI. This needs a pixel clock of 225 MHz which was not supported before. This was tested in a dual monitor setup with a GF114 (GTX 560 TI) and one HDMI monitor running with 2560x1440 at 56 and one DVI monitor running with 1920x1200 at 60. This still needs testing on other graphics cards and with dual link DVI. There is no

GF114 [GeForce GTX 560 Ti] (rev a1) slow and flickering display
I recently replaced a 8600 GT with the above card on openSUSE Tumbleweed x86_64. The screen now flickers and when I change desktops it takes a some 10 to 15 seconds to display the new windows. e.g if I change from desktop 1 (konsole) to desktop 8 (thunderbird) it switches but konsole is displayed for 10 to 15 seconds before thunderbird appears. Occasionally the screen flickers wildly before

nvidia-installer
CentOS 6.4 Came back from vacation, rebooted workstation, no X. Wound up running nvidia-installer. Now, I had been using kmod-nvidia, but had to stop a month or so ago, when NVidia stopped supporting my two-yr-old card ("legacy"). When that happened, I uninstalled kmod-nvidia. One dumb question: I can't figure out where I got nvidia-installer. It happily d/l the most current valid

Windows R 1.8.0 hangs when Mem Usage >1.8GB
I have a loop that increases the size of an object after each iteration. When the Windows Task Manager shows "Mem Usage" about 1.8GB, the Rgui.exe process no longer responds. I use: "C:\Program Files\R\rw1080\bin\Rgui.exe" --max-mem-size=4000M --min-vsize=10M --max-vsize=3000M --min-nsize=500k --max-nsize=1000M I have a dual Xeon 2.8GHz processor box with 4GB of memory and

Incorrect Video Card Recognization
First off, I'm a Linux newbie, so some things that should be basic knowledge might go over my head and I apologise for that in advance. I've already done a bit of digging on this, but I've hit a point where I just don't know how to figure it out any further. I just put a new machine together with a GeForce GTX460 SE video card. I'm running 64-bit Linux Mint 10 and WINE 1.2.2,

Diablo 3 - Perfomance was ok but it's not anymore.
Hello all, When i finally managed to run Diablo3 game thru wine, it was working perfect. No stuttering at all. I've finished the Diablo3 on normal level and now i'm playing it again on nightmare level - but i doubt that's releated to my problem. Since few days when i run diablo via wine i get incredible stuttering, the game is nearly unplayable but _nothing_ changed in wine's
