Album List for wa2 saying it supports OGG when it really doesnt.
Just a quick email to say looks like someone needs help: http://albumlist.sourceforge.net/ the newest version of the plugin for wa2 says it supports OGG- it doesnt, it just automatically adds "OGG" to the list of file types to scan. If OGG were supported, then the plugin would correctly display the times for the albums. Which it doesnt (at least on my pc). Anywoo, just thought someone

What is ks.test saying?
Hello! I have two matrices of equal dimension ll and lu that I want to do a ks.test on corresponding rows in these matrices (dim(ll) is [1] 101 100). If I do e.g. > ks.test(ll[50,],lu[50,]) just for testing, it displays a lot of numbers, and some more info: [116] -3.000000e-02 -4.000000e-02 -4.000000e-02 -3.000000e-02 -4.000000e-02 [121] -3.000000e-02 -4.000000e-02 -3.000000e-02 -2.000000e-02

Felt like saying thanks
I know, this probably isn't the right place for it, but, I was just finding the nth use for syslinux and thinking yet again just how handy these tools are and just felt like saying it. Thanks for all your hard work Mr. Anvin in providing not just a massively useful tool that's open to all to use for free, but, even supporting this tool so well.

Ett, två, three, four, cinq... saying numbers
http://bugs.digium.com/bug_view_page.php?bug_id=0001429 Saying numbers is not always easy, especially if you want one software to be able to do it in many different languages with different syntaxes for how to construct numbers like "one-hundred-twenty-four" or "fem-hundra-tjugo-?tta" or "quatre-vingt-dix-neuf". All the code that we had on the bug tracker for

Simple Caller-ID match and block and/or play voice file saying you're calling too much or don't call!
The subject says it all. A couple of my sons have very annoying friends that tend to call ALOT. I usually don't like to answer the phone but these kids keep calling back with in 2 minutes of calling. I'm sure someone else has this problem and maybe using * to do a callerID match and block? Even add logic that if they called so many times in an hour? Or in my case, make it a

New Member, saying Hi. :)
Hello everyone. I had heard about this open-source PBX once a while back. I wasn't too interested in it at the time but I kept the info filed away for possible future use. A couple of days ago, I was walking around Barnes and Nobles and I found this book, called Asterisk: The Future of Telephony. I paged through it a little and I was really excited by what I read. Then I remembered the

CentOS newbie just saying hello
Hi folks, Just a quick hello having installed CentOS on my first box - an Acer Altos G310 (P4 2.8GHz, 768MB RAM with 70GB + 300GB storage. The 300GB unit is a SATA disk which I hope to software (hardware!?) mirror - if I'm in for any major fun mirroring a SATA drive do let me know now - I think hardware mirroring is not an option (yet!?) but I haven't checked this out completely. 2 root disks sdb1,sdc1; if set "root=/dev/sdc1", mtab lies saying sdb1 is root!?
I have 2 SCSI disks each w/a RH 7.3 ext3 root filesystem: /dev/sdb1, and /dev/sdc1. /dev/sda1 is an old RH4.2 root filesystem. (sdb1 was created as an image of sdc1 using dd.) I have no problem booting from a SYSLINUX 1.52 floppy with SYSLINUX.CFG containing "append initrd=initrd.img root=/dev/sdb1". When I alter SYSLINUX.CFG with: "append initrd=initrd.img root=/dev/sdc1".

[OT] Just saying hi!
I hope this list is small enough for not beeing banned when introducing oneself. So... Hi, I just subscribed to the theora-lists. I'm from the XVID project, so I know a deal about video and MPEG-4 in particular, but nothing about Vorbis/Theora etc., That's why I'm here, because I'm interested in patent-free alternatives. I guess there is no documentation of the current status
